FOX News: WHO: Sweden, which avoided mass coronavirus lockdowns, should be 'model' for the world
A top official from The World Health Organization (WHO) praised Sweden on Wednesday as a "model" for the rest of the world, in fighting the novel coronavirus.
“I think if we are to reach a new normal, I think in many ways Sweden represents a future model of -- if we wish to get back to a society in which we don’t have lockdowns," Dr. Mike Ryan said while speaking to reporters from Geneva.
Ryan, who serves as executive director of WHO's Emergencies Program, praised Sweden's health care system and credited it with making all the right moves from the beginning of the outbreak.

Democrats all went the other way. It gave them more power and more opportunity to criticize Trump.
Democrats also aver that the Chinese owned WHO is authoritative. Will they go with this advice now and say "Mea Culpa" for the past 2 months?
The lockdown should be articulated. The elderly, babies and the sick need to be quarantined. everybody else goes about as normal and they and everyone else reinforce good hygiene practices.
You know that lazy effing mayor of New York could not get the subways cleaned of feces, urine and other debris. Now 8 weeks into COVID miraculously it is cleaned. Is the spread of corona more about the strain or more about the liberal stain?
They may well turn on a dime. I've seen a report about that. After all we need our economy back. So far the narrative has been to blame Trump for both COVID-19 and the economy and it seems to be working.
Now turn on a dime and support full reopening. After all we did what we did based upon the advice of Trump Administration experts.
