WNU Editor: Earlier expectations and predictions from the media was that one million protesters were going to show up in Washington DC today. From what I have seen so far, that is not going to happen. I was surprised that only 3,000 showed up at the Lincoln memorial. Is there "protest fatigue". I do not know. But my earlier fears that we will be seeing violence on the streets of Washington have (to my relief) not materialized.

Americans have a short attention span. The radicals looking the "cause de jour" will virtue signal and post instgram pics to show how woke they are.
Where I live the beaches, resturants and stores are jammed. The start of the "who gives a fu*k" begins tomorrow. Summer is here.
Anti-Trump Media will desperately try to keep it going. A Dem Minnessota machine, corrupt government, corrupt Dem cops and Dem unions....Trumps fault. Not like this guy was mother Theresa........
After the the final funeral of seemingly never ending Floyd funerals the country will move on.
Lick that boot.
George Floyd was an active participant in a strong armed robbery at a person's home. He pointed a gun at a pregnant women's abdomen and threatened her.
Yet, NSFW people still worship Floyd George.
Simply put we are not hungry. We are not brutalized. We are over fed consumer oriented blowhards who have never known hardship or suffering. So we get bored and watch Netflix.
Patiently I await the correction.
Lets see how long the liberal media can keep the protests going.
Perhaps we're not seeing the level of violence expected because Trump's floating of the so called "Insurrection Act" has spooked the leadership of these groups. As Secretary of Defense Esper said "we are not on that situation now." The operative word veubg "now" as in the time when he spoke those words. So it remains an option to be considered.
It obviously spooked much of the naib stream media and much of the establishment in both current and retired government officials as judged by their hysterical over the top reactions to this suggestion. Perhaps this has scared some folks into straightening up their act. Trump diplomacy at work again I think. I prsy the violence stays down and our editor's relief is justified.
