Is The United States Experiencing An 'America’s Cultural Revolution'? China Says Yes

Breitbart: Chinese Media Brands U.S. Statue Hysteria ‘America’s Cultural Revolution’

Chinese state propaganda outlet Global Times on Thursday branded increasingly breathless efforts to destroy statues, disappear films and books, and otherwise erase unsavory history in the United States “America’s Cultural Revolution,” a reference to the massacres under Mao Zedong in the 1960s.

The Global Times concluded that the American “Cultural Revolution” is “useless” because America’s federalist, democratic political framework makes true revolution and “equality” impossible. The state-run newspaper regularly urges Americans to abandon their constitution and individual freedoms for a Chinese-style totalitarian communist system.

WNU Editor: Truth be told. America has been going through a cultural war for years if not decades. The Global Times post is here .... US political correctness won’t solve racial inequality (Global times).

The Global Times article assumes that things like "racial inequality" and "systemic racism" still exist in America. If the author is incorrect, then any potential "solution" definitely will not solve the problem but will only make things worse.

I'm not aware of "lowlife and scum" wuote attributed to president Trump. The words are consistent with something Trump would say. So for now the quote is assumed as accurate. Where the author errs deliberately or not is when he asserts the "lowlife and scum" rrmatk was being directed at "protesters." Based upon a careful observation of Trump over many years any such remark would have been directed at rioters/looters and NOT at "protesters." Pretty much EVERYONE including POTUS supports peaceful protesters. This distinction is important and whether deliberate or not the author fails to make it.

"Keith Richburg’s Out Of America: A Black Man Confronts Africa, about his job as the Washington Post’s bureau chief in the 1990s, proves it."

"And so it was that I came to be born in Detroit and that thirty-five years later, a black man born in white America, I was in Africa, birthplace of my ancestors, standing at the edge of a river not as an African but as an American journalist—a mere spectator—watching the bloated bodies of black Africans cascading over a waterfall. And that’s when I thought about how, if things had been different, I might have been one of them—or might have met some similarly anonymous fate in one of the countless ongoing civil wars or tribal clashes on this brutal continent. And so I thank God my ancestor survived that voyage."

Today's journalists would crucify Keith Richburg, if given a chance.

Thanks for the postings on the aforementioned book.
I've felt for many years that much of the friction is based on cultural differences. Differences that may be based upon old homeland cultural norms that persist in the new country but cause friction for generations. The American Indian cultures never seem to have recovered from the destruction those cultures underwent as America grew west.
Then too there is political intervention that isn't always successful in the long run because such intervention has been shown in studies to create dependencies. Having volunteered for a few years in a "Great Society" program in 1979 through '82 until Reagan let these well-intentioned political gestures die on the vine, I saw this first hand. Most striking memory of this experience was how quickly South Vietnamese refugees caught on to the emptiness of many of the programs. The one for which I voluntered was called the "Office of Economic Opportunity" or OEO. It was responsible for the deforestation of many acres of pulpwood forest, salaries for it's employees, and little else.

Good intentions are not always so good in the end. Some people grab the brass ring on the merry go round while others don't. A bit dated...brass rings and merry go rounds. Sorry.

Mariame Kaba is an activist, who migrated to the US from Guinea/Ivory Coast.

She comes from Africa, because the USA is such a terrible nation? Does that make sense?

It makes sense to 4:51, but truth be told 4:51 is fucked in the head.

Kaba attended Soros Justice Fellowships Symposium and became mpre of whack job than she already was.

Kaba wants to abolish the police and yet here is asshole and asslicker 4:51 standing for police abolishment, for Soros and for Kaba. Poor troll thinks of he keeps trolling he won't have to do so much ass licking. His supervisor does;;t taste good.

PARIS — The highest court in France on Wednesday rejected a bid by George Soros, the billionaire investor, to overturn a conviction for insider trading in a case dating back nearly 20 years, leaving the first blemish on his five-decade investing career.

good thing no one in our elected Congress does such things.
I do not want to abolish the police..I am white

Very good 5:43! You just did the Tu quoque fallacy.

All of Congress does not engage in such things. All of Congress does not get away with such things.

Please play again

How George Soros broke the Bank of Thailand.

How George Soros broke the Bank of England.

Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad accused George Soros of ruining Malaysia's economy with "massive currency speculation".

When I day dream, I dream of parachuting Soros into Kuala Lampur.
