There is a concept of path dependent and not path dependent.
Water is not path dependent. It does matter where it has been. It just matters where it is and what the path forward will give it a lower energy state. That is the quickest way down.
Biden is like water. He has no morals, no compass, almost no set of ethics.
His ethics are how can I ascend to the high socio-economic position in my society so I can feather the nest for myself and my progeny and live in comfort. That is his whole set of ethics right there in a nutshell.
So if his handlers tell him to take a knee, bark, roll over, he will do it, if he thinks it will get him the presidency.
