Confounding media’s effort to blame him for riots.
Despite the recent riots over police brutality, Rasmussen has indicated that black approval for the job President Trump is doing is now over 40%.
“Our Daily Presidential Tracking poll today shows Black Likely Voter approval of the job @realDonaldTrump is now over 40%,” tweeted the polling agency.
The full results of the poll are yet to be published, but the number suggests that the media’s campaign to frame Trump’s response to the riots as draconian and racist has completely failed.

Rasmussen was one of the very few polls which accurately predicted the 2016 presidential race.
There communities have been particularly hard hit both by the COVID-19 response and now the riots. The local and state politicians in the areas hardest hit haven't lifted a finger to help them other than to blame Trump as a divider or whatever. Meanwhile President Trump at least when he is able to break through the media blockage is promoting law and order. As has been said (paraphrase), "people will ignore a shout but they will strain to hear a whisper." While Trump doesn't whisper in the face of a relentless media onslaught where he can barely be heard, this may well explain the "surge" in approval.
If he really was that bad, it would seem they'd just let him speak interrupted and say nothing. He'd just destroy himself. As Shakespeare said, "thou doest protest much."
How many complaints were lodged by the public for George FLoyd's conduct?

The cops should have left Floyd alone. He would have assaulted another Democrat or expired on his own.
