Today's U.S. Supreme Court Ruling Guarantees That President Trump's Tax Returns Will Not Be Made Public Before The Election

Daily Mail: Donald Trump rages 'not fair' and vows to fight to keep his taxes secret after stunning 7-2 Supreme Court ruling that prosecutors CAN subpoena his returns and he is NOT above the law - with his own SCOTUS picks Gorsuch and Kavanaugh voting against him

* Supreme Court rules 7-2 that Manhattan prosecutors can get Donald Trump's tax returns by subpoenas to his bank, Deutsche Bank, and accountants Mazars
* Trump had fought to keep them secret saying as president he was absolutely immune from investigation
* But in stunning rebuke, Chief Justice John Roberts wrote a 7-2 decision which said the president is not above the law - meaning the subpoenas can go ahead
* Both Brett Kavanaugh and Neil Gorsuch, Trump's appointees to the courts, voted against him
* After the ruling he furiously tweeted that he was being singled out by the justices and other presidents had got 'deference'
* Ruling does not immediately open the way for the public to see his returns
* Manhattan prosecutor Cy Vance who is probing possible hush money payments to Stormy Daniels will now go back to court there to ask for subpoeanas
* Process in court is likely to take weeks but Mazars, the accountants, say they will immediately comply with a subpoena
* Deutsche Bank have not said what they will do but this week paid $150 million in fines for failing to flag Jeffrey Epstein's finances properly
* He scored a partial victory in Congressional Democrats' attempt to get his tax returns with the same justices ruling the case should go back to lower courts
* Roberts ruled he was not immune from Congress - which was the heart of his defense - but that other issues about separation of powers had to be dealt with

Donald Trump rage tweeted 'NOT FAIR!' Thursday as the Supreme Court ruled 7-2 that he cannot claim immunity to stop his tax returns being obtained by prosecutors - while his lawyer vowed to fight to keep them secret from New York's district attorney Cy Vance.

The justices dealt a stunning blow Trump by ruling that he cannot claim immunity from all investigation to stop his bank and his accountants from handing over the tax returns that Vance had demanded as part of his probe into possible hush money to Stormy Daniels.

The court ruled 7-2 that Trump is not immune as president from subpoenas, in an opinion that tested both the power of local prosecutors and Congress to obtain information.

WNU Editor: The President is raging against this Supreme Court decision. The media is also claiming this is a huge defeat for President Trump. I totally disagree with what the media is saying, and President Trump should be doing a "Snoopy dance" in celebrating this decision. From my point of view this is a huge win for President Trump. He does not have to provide his tax forms to Congress. This case will now probably go back to the lower courts. The Supreme Court also did not order the President to immediately comply to a New York City grand jury's demand for his documents. What it ruled on was that the President does not enjoy complete immunity. So what is the aftermath of these rulings? They will probably go back to the lowercourts where I can guarantee that this will take a long time to resolve. Bottom line. The Democrats are not going the President's tax forms before the election. So here is my prediction. The media will be dropping this story by tomorrow morning.

Don't worry. The left will find a way to make Biden win

Even if there's a doctor giving CPR to him on the debate stage, CNN will call Biden the winner

You know it's true

I'm joking but you know it's true

How CNN is allowed to operate under the shield of news its beyond me. They are operatives for the Democrat party (at the moment). When Antifa grows and starts roaming the streets and beat everyone into submission they will work for them too

If you want actual discussion, watch tucker Carlson

That guy should run for president. He absolutely deserves to win too. Maybe 2024 too early for him but man, there are few who call it like it is like he does

Except Trump of course

Hope he gets his mount Rushmore place. He certainly deserves it.

Or Xi. Whatever. If CNN continues, it'll be Xi. I'm sure they're cool with it too

President Trump should be doing a "Snoopy dance"

Maybe

Maybe Trump is crying crocodile tears.

On the positive side some justices 'look' independent. They probably are independent.

Most of us believe that Roberts is not independent. Maybe it has to do with how his blue eye blonde haired Hispanic Children were adopted from Ireland via Central America.

Do we know what the New York grand jury is investigating?

We don't know exactly what the grand jury is investigating — it's a secret. But it could be anything and everything related to Trump, the Trump Organization and people around him. That was made pretty clear by the reaction from Vance after the ruling.

"This is a tremendous victory for our nation's system of justice and its founding principle that no one — not even a president — is above the law," Vance said in a statement. "Our investigation, which was delayed for almost a year by this lawsuit, will resume, guided as always by the grand jury's solemn obligation to follow the law and the facts, wherever they may lead."

"Wherever they may lead" is pretty expansive and shows why Trump is so irritated by all of this.

Anon 5:14 proves who the real a-hole is with his stupid statement. “If there was anything“ , while ignoring that the investigation was delayed a year and information withheld. And that now they will go back with subpoenas for the information that is being withheld. The Clerk.

Because the tax records show Russian collusion? That is why you need them?

Try again.

Dim-o-crats argue in the Clinton impeachment trial that sex was just sex and not grounds for impeachment. So now you and other Dims are dimly trying to get Trump on sex.

Personally, if Trump had sex outside of marriage is not going to change my vote. I figure more often than not, if a person has 10 or 20 million in the bank, they philander. It is the nature of humanity. Plus it is not hypocrisy. Trump is not a doctrinaire Republican.

BTW, did you tell your wife that you might have brought a little something extra to the marriage?

I always wonder. If a woman gets a certain type of cancer; I wonder if it is her fault, she is unlucky or of it is hubby's fault.

I read about a guy in the 19th century, who noticed that the wives of traveling salesmen had a higher rate of cancer. That church stuff about monogamy ... That is garbage. They had pills to cure that shit in the 19th century right.

So now you and other Dims are dimly trying to get Trump on sex.

What are the Dim-o-crats standards for sex?

- That the 2 parties are of age (Important Dim groups are trying to lower the age to 12).

- And that it is consensual.

That is it.

Mast people I know who voted for Trump do not believe he is an angel. They voted for him for The Wall and the economy. Some also voted for him because he wanted to get us out of foreign wars. No one I now voted for him, because he was the 2nd coming of Jimmy Carter.

All you are trying to do is win by fair means or foul.

Your arguments are not consistent or logical. Often times arguments on either side are neither, but you are plumbing new depths dude.

It is goods that you call yourself "The Clerk". You would not want the title Professor. That will be out of vogue after Antifa becomes more and more reviled and people ask, where those losers learned that crap.
