Tensions Continue On The India - China Border

Reuters: Indian, China troops exchanged gunshots twice last week as tensions rose

NEW DELHI (Reuters) - Indian and Chinese border troops had an exchange of gunfire last week just days before a meeting of their foreign ministers, Indian officials said on Wednesday, in a further breach of a decades-old restraint at the frontier.

The two sides have had a long-standing agreement for troops not to use firearms at the poorly defined Line of Actual Control or the informal border and for 45 years no shot has been fired.

But since late last month, there have been three incidents of warning shots fired in the western Himalayas where troops are locked in a faceoff over competing territorial claims, often in close proximity, officials aware of the situation told Reuters.

“In all these cases shots were fired in the air and not at each other thankfully,” said one of the officials.

This behaviour by China, to unilaterally just declare a new border line and violate a prior bilateral agreement is very common in China, from politics to business where its rampant.

Often Chinese try to shout you down or intimidate you, if you notice a contractual violation, theft or worse. It's a stereotype, alright, but it's also true. Ask the vietnamese. Ask the Indians. Ask the Americans. Ask anyone. China's Achilles heel is their arrogance to and ignorance of other societal norms, values and cultural strength. They think we are all blind and dumb. They truly believe they're superior, smarter and better just because they have new sky scrapers and torture their children to play the violins early on. Well.. the violin was invented in Italy and you can ask the Italians what their experience with China's business henchmen and the Wuhan virus was.

The real characteristics of a bully is nothing but a looser. I have seen bullies having a bad defeat and that teaches them the hardest lesson and realization they they just wasted so much time trying to bring down everybody but never walked forward. that is China!
