Are The CIA And FBI Directors Hoping that President Trump Will Lose The Election?

The Federalist has a story about the CIA continuing to frustrate any investigation into America’s worst-ever scandal, the Russia hoax. It is the kind of story I often don’t pay attention to, as it is based on the accounts of “multiple senior U.S. officials.” So take it for what it is worth. But Sean Davis has a good track record, I think, and the story has a ring of plausibility to those versed in bureaucratic affairs.

Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Director Gina Haspel is personally blocking the declassification and release of key Russiagate documents in the hopes that President Donald Trump will lose his re-election bid, multiple senior U.S. officials told The Federalist. The officials said Haspel, who served under former CIA Director John Brennan as the spy agency’s station chief in London in 2016 and 2017, is concerned that the declassification and release of documents detailing what the CIA was doing during the 2016 election and the 2017 transition could embarrass the CIA and potentially even implicate Haspel herself.

The first rule of bureaucracy is that officials in any agency will prioritize protecting their organization over any other objective. It seems to be a rule of human nature.

“Haspel and [FBI Director Christopher] Wray both want Trump to lose, because it’s the only chance they have of keeping their jobs,” one senior intelligence official told The Federalist. “They’re banking on Biden winning and keeping them where they are.”

WNU Editor: We know the President and FBI Director Wrey do not see eye-to-eye .... Will President Trump Fire FBI Director Wray? (September 20, 2020). As for CIA Director Gina Haspel, I am sure this is not going over well in he White House .... CIA, NSA chiefs opposed release of unverified Russia intelligence to Republican lawmaker: sources (Reuters).

Why not release the Igor Danchenko interview or other material?

1) Will it reveal sources or methods?

Then where is the risk?

2) Will American agents in Russia die, if these documents are declassified?

Maybe. Gina Haspell the London Chief at the time might take her own life. Give that a 1 in a million to a 1 in thousand chance.

But will any real agent who has their ass on the line be vulnerable to being eliminated by the Russians? I think the answer is no.

3) Is releasing the document going to do grave damage to US security since methods will be revealed?

I think it will. The Russians already know or suspect. But by releasing the documents, the Russians and others will know for sure and see how shitty the CIA's methods are. That will invite aggression.

After all the Russian Dossier Hoax documents are revealed Putin might execute a few score Russian agents. He'll want to know why Russia has not get better results against a group of puds at the CIA.

Win or Lose Trump needs to fire Haspell and Wray after November 3rd. That way they can do less damage. Maybe more stuff can come out and maybe regardless Biden won't be able to make them whole no matter how many lies are told.

Before FRL starts up[ with his bullshit, maybe he can read what Althouse has to say.

"[Igor] Danchenko’s identity is noteworthy because it further calls into question the credibility of the [Steele] dossier."

FRL sez:
that has nothing to do with the issue being discussed for this post:
Return to study hall and try again

Igor Danchenko, the mental patient and one who was investigated as being a Russian spy, is trying to entrap a Trump supporter.

July 25, 2020 – Two emails reveal Igor Danchenko’s attempt to lure Trump supporter Sergei Millian into Russian business schemes

Igor Danchenko wrote the Steele Dossier.

The Russian Hoax comes from the dossier.

So facts like Danchenko being investigated for being a Russian spy or being admitted to a psych ward are important,

So Gina's obstruction to it and other documents getting declassified are fair game for discussion.

BTW I gave you a month to come up with the names of the two Russian hookers that you allege peed on the bed. You never did. I bet you remember the names of the Korean hookers you used. I bet you know the name of the Korean hooker to whom you delivered your buddy.

Also, please pit out the Trump hotel in Moscow, Can you give us the date of the ground breaking. If you can give us a street address I can look at it using google maps.

Were you in charge of study hall in college? Usually they pout undergrads in charge of that and not tenured profs.

The FBI and CIA both need to be disbanded. They have failed in their missions and they are overly influenced by outside forces who are against the best interest of the American people.
