Reuters: Exclusive: Russian operation masqueraded as right-wing news site to target U.S. voters - sources
LONDON (Reuters) - The Russian group accused of meddling in the 2016 U.S. election has posed as an independent news outlet to target right-wing social media users ahead of this year’s vote, two people familiar with an FBI probe into the activity told Reuters.
The latest operation centred around a pseudo media organisation called the Newsroom for American and European Based Citizens (NAEBC), which was run by people associated with the St. Petersburg-based Internet Research Agency, the sources said.
U.S. prosecutors say the agency played a key role in Russian efforts to sway the 2016 election in favour of President Donald Trump, and Facebook and Twitter exposed a fake left-wing media outlet in September which they said was run by people connected to the organisation.

WNU Editor: The FBI's focus is on the news website called Newsroom for American and European Based Citizens (NAEBC). I was naturally curious to see what they are writing about that got the attention of the FBI, so I tried to look for it. It was not easy to find this website. Its not highly ranked by Google, which tells me that the traffic to it must be very low. But I did find it, and the link is here. The site is basically a news aggregator that takes news reports from the main stream media, and puts a "conservative" bent/commentary to it. They do not post much .... maybe 2 or 3 posts a day, and most of what they post has already been reported by the wire services. From what I have seen .... this "news website" has little if any traffic. They are not present on social media. And what they are posting is not interesting. If this is the example that the FBI is using to make their case that Russia is trying to influence the US electorate, I am laughing hysterically right now.

You just know there are Democrat voters of bovine intelligence that stumbled upon that website and as a result stopped vote a straight party ticket and voted for Trump instead. They could not help themselves. It was like ... like they were led by the nose or something.

I'd say this is the time for some serious introspection for a now tarnished entity.
Questions to be asked are #1, do we need this current headcount,
#2, what are taxpayers getting for their buck, and #3, when is director Wray leaving.
This proves that Director Wray is as stupid and cowardly as Director Comey.
Comey says that filing correct 302's were not his job. Any military O6 would vehemently disagree. As a commanding officer an O6 is responsible for everything. When their subordinate screws up they counsel them, reassign them, or cashier them. They then choose a replacement and may mirco-manage that aspect of their operations for a while. After awhile they move on, because they are juggling a lot a responsibilities.
An O6 gets normal reports form their department heads. If there is a problem those reports from a particular department get more detailed for awhile.
Comey does not practice that. Maybe it is because of OPM. Maybe it is because he is a coward. Maybe it is because he is a loyalist for any thug in the White House.
I don't expect Comey to know what and every 302. that would be ludicrous. But when there is a problem I expect hi to drill down and to fix things. He did not.
I cannot find the news story on Comey and the 302's But here is one that refuges Wray's assertion about white Supremicists.

Seen news reports where Sally Yates is contradicting Comey. She is throwing him under the bus. Shee was extensively briefed on the 302's. You know if she was then Comey was. Comey obviously is a liar.
Not a single comment on any articles. This has to be a very bad joke..
Maybe the site is now blocked on social media for some reason, it should at least have some traction for its original subscribers.
Instead of making up threats where there is none, they should look in too the obvious vote meddling done by mainstream media.
