In Greensboro, N.C., the violence has gotten so extreme that a shootout erupted in front of the county courthouse the other day, across the street from the sheriff's office, leaving a 20-year-old man dead. Greensboro set a city record with 45 homicides last year, and, as of Friday, already had 54 this year.
"We've always had a level of gang activity," Greensboro Police Chief Brian James said in an interview, "but it's more prolific now. I'm not sure what's changed, but the offenders are more bold than they've ever been."
Homicides across America rose more than 28% in the first nine months of this year, and aggravated assaults increased nine percent, while rapes and robberies saw significant drops compared to the same period last year, according to statistics compiled this month from 223 police agencies by the Major Cities Chiefs Association and the Police Executive Research Forum.

WNU Editor: I live in Montreal. Our murder rate has not changed. But people I know in law enforcement are telling me that property crime has gone through the roof.

Better go hide in the chalet. Invite Russ and the rest of the crew and have a good old time.
You guys can drink scotch and whinge about the downfall of something or other.

Happy to live inside your tiny brain (rent free).
But have to add that I just bet that all the cities listed with these exploding murder rates have been run by Democrats for years. Including Greensboro.
/And a weekend at the Chalet sounds great! I'll even bring the Scotch.
(and a very nice Ithica bird gun for the geese and duck

When is comes to guns, (and other purpose built tools), I'll just quote a phrase from a very wise man: "It's better to have one and not need it then to need one and not have it."
Hahahah this Anon 914, 924 is our best WNU Jesture. Upload a GIF of you slurping Harris's female penis next, while Fred gives you a "strong hand" reach around. Such a good, funny, shaft bled boi :D

"But in Petrograd it seemed that no one was in control. Several of the Tsar’s ministers were under arrest. Police officers were being assaulted, and in some cases killed."
"Order started to breakdown in Moscow and other cities. Solzhenitsyn describes the confusion, disorder, indecision, personal ambition, and fear that influenced events. “All authority had been swept away,” he wrote, “all communications had been cut, and all laws had lost their force.” On the streets of Petrograd, “[t]here was shooting everywhere … Motor cars were driving around with red flags, machine guns, and armed soldiers or sailors.” “The world,” Solzhenitsyn wrote, “had turned upside down.”
While the Provisional Government sought to restore some form of order, the Bolsheviks sought to undermine the forces of order, especially the military. The Soviets called for officers to be elected by enlisted personnel and for enlisted personnel to disobey their commanders. The Soviet newspaper Isvestia, Solzhenitsyn explained, “came out directly opposed to the restoration of order.” "
Seems similar to the USSA where Antifa, Demoncrats and other noble thinkers are wanting to defund the police.

Unfortunately this seems about right. Little Jimmy Mattis can't be "distracted" long enough to deal with this. His buddy "idiot Esper" has a similar issue.

Our veteran copy and paster, Fred Lapides, is back with some very sloppy cut and paste.
It is low for his standards.
Fred Lapides has failed to convert anyone to his way of thinking and he knows it, So what is the point.
The effort is his victory lap laughing at people. he picked the wining side, so he is smart and he wants us to know it.
Or he is simply trying to bludgeon people with news stories which he thinks will have that affect. In other words he is a wanna be bully.
Cry bullies are really pathetic and ridiculous to see.
Fred Lapides is on the winning side or so it appears. I don't think he cares if he is on the right side or the good side. His side ran a nursing home resident for president and might win. Fred Lapides thinks it is all very kosher. Running a nursing home resident for president does not show the good morality of a party. It merely shows their power.
How can the Democrats one up running a nursing home resident? Run a dead person and still win the presidency! Democrats have that much power at the polling machine.
Fred Lapides post was off topic. The topic was the murder rates in American cities. It is related to the political machinations of the Democrat Party and the Party faithful. They used a war on police, defunding police and a policy of lawlessness to try to swing the election. So politics and the election are intimately interwoven with the crime wave. However, Fred Lapides post on the election is merely you guy lost.
My prediction is that Thanksgiving dinner at the Lapides household is go got be a very nuclear family affair. Only the closest family would put up with him. Eat quickly and mention "What's going on?. Don't you need to be on your computer."
My gift to Fred.

The gift is lost on him as he may read it, but the comprehension will not be there.
