New articles of impeachment against President Trump introduced by Rep. David Cicilline seek not only to remove him from office for the very short remainder of his term - they would block him from ever running for office again.
According to the articles, President Trump's insistence that he won the election by a "landslide" and other statements "encouraged - and foreseeably resulted in - imminent lawless action at the Capitol" on Wednesday.
Trump's behavior "warrants impeachment and trial, removal from office, and disqualification to hold and enjoy any office of honor, trust, or profit under the United States."

WNU Editor: The Democrats know their history. Grover Cleveland won the US Presidency in 1884, but lost when he ran for re-election 4 years later. He ran again in 1892 against his former Republican opponent (weakened because of tough economic times), and won the election easily. If 4 years from now the US is experiencing tough economic times, President Trump will be well positioned to run again if he should choose. 74 million Americans voted for him in 2020, and I can easily see them voting for him again.

I heard from Darin Lahood speak. I am never going to vote for him again. This congressman straight forwardly inherited his congressional seat from his father.
His father worked as the chief of staff for congressman Bob Michel. When that Michel retired, he was nominated as the Republican candidate. He knows the issues, right, and he has worked in Washington, so he was vetted. He served until Obama made him Transportation Secretary. Aaron Shock was elected to replace Ray Lahood.
I believe that Aaron Shock was runout of office to make way for Darin Lahood, Ray's son. It is what I believe. I know that he overspent on decorating his office or used the wrong funds. Of all the rampant corruption in Washington stretching back to the House Post Office, Charlie Rangel and others and they get Arron Shock for decorating his office. He used campaign funds to decorate his office. Technically, that is against the law. They make up so many campaign laws that are worthless or unenforced and they go after decorations. After 3 years the charges were dropped. So how big of crime was it?
I truly believe that the fix was in to get Aaron Shock and Darin Lahood in. I have voted for Darin Lahood twice (2018 and 2020). No more.
I will vote, but House of Rep box will not be checked.
Darin besides being wrong on a very important issue is part of the hereditary political class.
Aaron Shock is gay. I knew this by 2014 or 2016. I voted for Shock knowing. How did I know? Gay liberals endlessly obsessed about it and talked about getting proof to out him. Shortly afterwards I heard from the teacher grapevine. I learned why he got in politics. They would not let Shock graduate early from high school. He had the credits to graduate, but a school district was more concerned with losing state funding. School districts want butts in seats so they get funding. Actual education is a nice to have not a must have. Shock ran for the school district board, because he hated the harassment in school and the obstinate bureaucratic school board. The rest is history.
The Feds dropped charges and Shock being the intellectually smart guy that he is does very well investing money.

Plus civilians, many of them, ar better armed, trained and motivated. When I was in the military it was a job to get anyone to the range once maybe twice a year. Police were enot much better. Annual qualification.
