Small groups of protesters - some of them armed - gathered on Sunday at statehouses in the US, where tensions are high after the deadly riots at the Capitol in Washington.
Protests were held outside capitol buildings in Texas, Oregon, Michigan, Ohio and elsewhere.
But many other statehouses were quiet, amid a ramping up of security across US legislatures.
No clashes were reported.
The FBI has warned of armed protests ahead of Wednesday's inauguration.

Gateway Pundit and PJ Media urged people not to go to protests on the 16th many of which were planned by shadowy Leftists groups. These leftist group made it very hard to figure out who was organizing these protests.
1) Liberals will try to use crowd psychology to get people to do things to get them arrested and for which liberals are not arrested or charged for.
2) Liberals will infiltrate any protests by liberals or conservatives and blame any damage or violence caused on conservatives.
3) Liberals will also used their golden oldie of beating people in the streets who are out numbered, old, a child or handicapped to intimidate people into not protesting Leftists.

Boogaloo Boi “teams have been activated in VA and we currently have 4 fireteams inside capital and 7 more outside,” he tweeted.
The 22-year-old Boogaloo leader and Virginia resident bragged about “infiltrating” MAGA during the riot and scoffed at Trump supporters for adhering to the 6pm citywide curfew for the District of Columbia mandated on Jan 6.
“After MAGA and others stormed the capital building in a moment of anger (which was cool)…they retreated to hotels to comply with the Curfew. We obviously didn’t…stayed out in the streets until 12,” he tweeted.
