Will Former President Trump Run For Congress?

WNU Editor: He is not going to run. It will be a demotion for him. And I think his focus will be more on his businesses.

How can he run for anything? In all likelihood, he's going to be impeached. I deem it more likely than not that there will be enough Republicans who'll vote with the Democrats to impeach. We could stop here. This likeky bars someone from running for office again. Then he has the NY criminal investigation. This is likeky to result in significant fires and jail time for both him and members of his family. At a minimum, the fines will likeky exceed his entire net worth leaving him completely destitute.

Keep in mind guilty or not the political system has decided on the outcomes its predetermined. In all likelihood what I mention above happens. I could be wrong.

As for focusing on his businesses, the Trump brand is ruined. No one wants to be associated with it. Think of what happened to the Senators who dared to try and stop the steal. They lost their funding and will likeky be primaried next time and out of office. Same with the Trump brand. It's toxic.

Essentially he's going to be bankrupt and destitute. He and his children are going be facing major prison sentences. "Facts" don't matter. This decision has already been made by the leadership class.

If Trump were to sufficiently grovel before the prosecutors, perhaps he and his children avoid significant jail time even though they will be financially destitute and have felonies attached to their records.

Essentially I don't get this idea of running for another office, starting a new political party, or focusing on his businesses. Perhaps the focus at this point should be on figuring out to sufficiently placate the prosecutors to minimize jail time and figure out how a destitute former POTUS whose lost his secret service protection and has numerous enemies finds security.

It's not a pretty picture for him or his family. Maybe I'm wrong but I think it can be said with pretty near absolute certainty that a political "outsider" will not try this again in America!!
