* The operating environment, as well as the challenges of life aboard a submarine, put submariners at a higher risk for psychological issues.
Chinese submariners patrolling the contested South China Sea are suffering from "serious" psychological disorders, according to a recently published study first reported by Stars and Stripes.
"One group of military personnel at high risk of mental health problems is the submarine force, especially in the South China Sea," five Chinese researchers affiliated with the Institute of Military Health Management at Naval Medical University in Shanghai wrote in an article published earlier this month in Military Medicine.

If US doesn't back down and China risks embarrassement they'll blame actions on a mentally sick sailor and then execute him
Of course people in subs are sick..we ask them to do inhumane tasks and be away from family, friends or a natural environment for prolonged periods of time. With almost no private space. No fresh air. No window. And doing a deadly job on low pay.
And on a nuclear sub this could mean death of earth.
And we still do it. Not for a few months until we realise how crazy this is. ..no no. ..these programs exist for decades and who knows when they fck up
The fckup in the wuhan lab will change our lives for a long time, we will of course resist the economic reset and kill every single person involved in this heist,but it'll still take years to recover from this.
And now imagine a fckup with nukes.
