(Reuters) - Pfizer Inc expects to deliver more than 13 million doses of its COVID-19 vaccine per week to the United States by the middle of March, more than doubling its shipments from early February, a top Pfizer executive said in prepared testimony ahead of a Tuesday congressional hearing.
Pfizer is on track to deliver 120 million doses of its two-dose regimen by the end of March, said John Young, Pfizer’s chief business officer.
Pfizer is also prepared to provide a total of 300 million shots to the United States by the end of July and has raised global production expectations for 2021 to at least 2 billion doses, he said.

WNU Editor: Pfizer's goal of producing 2 billion doses this year is impressive. And these vaccines are working .... The growing evidence that the Covid-19 vaccines can reduce transmission, explained (VOX). 2) the vaccine and continuous lock down are a great business model. .and great upramp to hook on the mRNA technology to give you monthly updates...if you pay, of course. .by then it'll be an affordable 19usd/month or the equivalent after hyper inflation thanks to the lockdown that bill and melinda gates pushed globally and then said on video that they couldn't imagine that locking down the world hurts the economy. As a good liberal Chris will carry water all day long. A good socialist will parse words and hang their hat on "generally available. If it is generally available in summer but not spring, then Trump loses by date or by how people want to define generally available.
For law and software releases there are some definitions. 130 million shots covers 39% of the people by March except for a 2 shot regime.
Does 39% of people getting the shot means it is generally available?
About 250 million people will have had shots by sometime in May. Summer dies not officially start until St John's day (June 21st). But if we go with Memorial Day or June1st about 2/3rd of people will be vaccinated. Does that mean generally available.
In my opinion the SES, GS15's and all the other poobahs in government just want to scare people so they can aggrandize power. By mid March or mid April between warmer weather, previously weathered infections and vaccinations, COVID will have burnt itself out.
By mid May or mid June we will have the survivor stories of people, who are not 100%. This will be done to cement power and to maintain restrictions on people.

COIVID has 29 proteins. in 2 or 3 change but the others stay the same, a vaccine for one strain could give some immunity to another strain.
