The Senate voted to acquit President Donald Trump in his impeachment trial Saturday as the vast majority of Republicans held together against a charge that he incited the Capitol riot of January 6.

After a roll call vote of the Senate, 57 senators voted to convict, with 43 senators voting to acquit. It wasn't enough to meet the two-thirds threshold set out in the Constitution.

A total of seven Republicans voted to convict; two of them have announced they are retiring at the end of their terms.

WNU Editor: I expected 6 Republicans were going to vote to impeach. Senator Sasse and Senator Burr were a surprise.

The Turtle soiled himself. Nay, he shitted his breeches.

For chrissakes Greenwald is asking questions about January 6th. Greenwald is asking questions about Sicknick. No autopsy released have been released. Autopsies take 2 to 4 hours. Preliminary results get released in 24 hours. Sicknick called his brother the night of the 5th and said he was going home. There is no video. The capital building has plenty of cameras. What we may have is a person, who died of natural causes and the Deep State is trying to blame someone, anyone, who was at the capital building.

Then we have Pelosi and the refusal of FOIA request. What we have is Democrats and others trying the "Let's stampede them of the cliff" tactic and when there was no stampede, they are all embarrassed like the shits that they are. It is why they ended shampeachment, when they got wind Nancy was going to be called as a witness,. she would have been asked about intel on ANTIFA and yahoos and how much the FBI and Capital police knew before the 6th. It would have gone very badly for the old bag.

Calling Pelosi would have led to the calling of ANTIFA members. Their testimony would have went into the record.
