Taliban Sends 'Open Letter' Urging Biden’s Administration To Stick To A 2020 Troop Withdrawal Peace Agreement

ISLAMABAD - Through an "open letter," the Taliban is urging U.S. President Joe Biden’s administration Tuesday to stick to a 2020 troop withdrawal peace agreement, describing it as “the most effective way of ending” the war in Afghanistan.

The insurgent group’s chief peacemaker, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, addressed the letter to the American public, asking U.S. citizens to hold their government to account over implementing the terms of the agreement the two sides sealed last year in Qatar’s capital, Doha, on Feb. 29.

Remember when the asses of the media (i.e. employees of the MSM) breathlessly reported and cajoled coalition members to decamp from.

MSMers were positively giddy whenever a coalition member pulled out troops, because in their mind it meant that if the US was the only MNF left, they would be compelled to leave also.

Funny, but with Democrat in charge there is no death watch of coalition members nor of troop deaths. Some wag will point out there are no troop deaths. Well the Taliban might be refraining however hard it might be to do what comes natural to them IOT the US hopefully pulls out. Also, it is the dead of winter. Fighting season starts in 2 or 3 months.

Wait until June and the US soldiers are still there. The Taliban will get mad and start targeting US soldiers. President Harris will have her plate full of more than just calling world leaders.
