U.S. And Global Covid-19 Cases Continue To Decline

New daily cases are down in all 50 states compared to last month, with none reporting more than 10,000 new COVID-19 infections on a given day
It's not just the US that is seeing encouraging signs - cases and deaths have declined by 16% worldwide last week compared to the previous one
Daily Mail: No US state records more than 10,000 new COVID-19 cases in a week for the first time this year as deaths decline 30% from their January peak and global infections fall by 16 in seven days

 * All 50 states saw fewer than 10,000 new COVID cases across a rolling average
 * New York, Texas, Florida and California continued to see the highest number
 * Hawaii and Wyoming both recorded fewer than 100 cases across the seven days
 * Deaths are down 30 percent since their peak in early January
 * Experts warn against complacency, however, as new strains pose a threat
 * Worldwide cases fell 16% last week compared to the previous while deaths declined 10% worldwide

For the first time this year, no state in the country saw an average of more than 10,000 new COVID-19 cases over the past seven days, it was reported on Tuesday, in the latest encouraging sign in pandemic progress.

The COVID Tracking Project found that every single state is showing a decline in numbers compared to January. Nationwide, the seven-day rolling average of daily cases is down to 75,518, compared to 209,945 a month ago, according to Johns Hopkins University data.

Just a few minutes after the election it started declining.

A miracle.

Just like the vote count.
Did you hear the pedophile, senile, corrupt Joseph Biden had ten million more votes than Obama? it's true lol

Because the money ran out, so hospitals and others no oo9nger have an incentive to fake it.

Because the election is over and xfer of power is complete (What 10:13 said).

I would have though February would have bene a big month. People are cooped up because of the bitter cold. People still have to go to work in nursing homes, but nursing are just the steady drizzle of deaths as before.

The bitter cold makes the air very dry, which is a boon to COVID. The cold makes people weaker. The air temperature set at a particular thermostat setting feels worse below freezing than above even though the furnace will bring a structure up to the target temperature. At the bottom of the cycle you are more chilled and miserable.

I would have thought it very possible that February's death toll would be as high as January from the freakishly cold weather. January was mild compared to February temperature wise.

The WHO and CDC have changed the criteria for what constitutes a positive test. For example, if you get tested and don't have obvious symptoms, even if the test comes back positive, you will not count until a 2nd test comes back positive. They have also adjusted the sensitivity so you'll get less positives. It is all kabuki theater in order to fool the people and make certain pols look better.

I guess its a sign of the times, I now know more people that have been vaccinated than were infected by Covid.
