U.S. Setting Up New Military Bases In Syria

Zero Hedge: Damascus Says Biden Is Setting Up New Bases On Sovereign Syrian Territory

Within the first few weeks of the Biden administration a handful of viral stories alleged there had been an immediate uptick in US convoys and logistical equipment headed into northeast Syria, which many took to reflect an escalation of the occupation under the new administration. However, given that most US action in Syria including troop movements and locations at any given moment are classified and done far away from ground-level media reporting, it's almost impossible to verify whether such large convoys in and out of the country are part of 'routine' resupply missions or if they represent a broader build-up of forces.

"US seeks fallback Saudi bases in case of Iran tensions (Arab News)."

So the way to obtain Saudi bases is to embarrass or threaten the Saudi Crown Prince?

What geniuses thought that up?

Going back and forth between Yaacov Apelbaum, GWP, and WNU

"The description of the exploit seems plausible, but if this was the case, then how did the DOJ learn all of these details and use them in the indictments without the FBI ever forensically evaluating the DNC/HFA computers and servers?"

"Finally, since when does the DOJ, who only speaks the language of indictments uses hearsay from British nationals like Matt Tait—a former junior GCHQ and a connoisseur of all things related to Russian collusion (who under oath denied his media claims)—Crowdstrike, or any other evidence lacking chain of custody accreditation as a primary source for prosecution?"

This bothers me the most:
" use them in the indictments without the FBI ever forensically evaluating the DNC/HFA computers and servers"

This also bothers me, but not as much. It is a big deal from all the UCMJ stuff I have been taught. But is as if all the priors and the rest of the federal workforce and citizens went stupid:

"any other evidence lacking chain of custody accreditation as a primary source for prosecution"

I would think the Russians should show up in the US to have their day in court if it was only half way a Kangaroo court. They would win.

However, I think it would be full bore Kangaroo court and they could be 100% innocent and still be found guilty.

Weisman is a mean, nasty character, He would keeping legally shivving. Mueller on the other hand if he did not have anyone whispering in his ear literally would be a deer in the headlights.

The Russians could have done it. Could have. The FBI could not want to divulge their sources and methods. This has what IMO a 1 in 100 or a 1 in 1,000 chance of being true?

The FBI is not looking into who murdered Seth Rich any more than the FBI is looking into Hunter Biden's computer or OJ is looking the murderer of his Ex.

Maybe Seth Rich pulled a Snowden and leaked stuff to the Russians in disgust and the CIA wax him an so the FBI is not going to look for his killer, because they can't or do not want to?

Or Maybe Seth Rich just leaked it directly to Wikileaks after seeing the corruption of the DNC seeing how Bernie was cheated of delegates or how Hillary was fed debate questions among other things?

Enough on that.

The new base story reminds me of homeless stories. Whenever there is a Republican president homelessness rising stories become du jour. The stories go away when there is a Democrat president.

So we just had in the last two years of the Trump admin the obligatory stories about the military footprint in terms of number of bases and number of people. Now Joe Biden is president and new bases are popping up like poppies on Flanders Field and no bemoaning it.

When did we slide from the 1990's and news stories of 85% of journalists being liberals and somewhat biased to straight on 1984? US media is out TASSing the TASS of the 1980's.
