Boris Johnson and Nicola Sturgeon today mounted a staunch defence of the AstraZeneca vaccine after Germany became the latest EU state to pause its use.
The PM insisted the jabs are 'both safe and effective' while the First Minister urged Britons to keep coming forward, pointing to 'significant and growing evidence of the benefits' in terms of saving lives, preventing symptoms and curbing transmission.
The EU now looks set to embrace Russia's Sputnik V Covid jab even as its leaders shun British-made AstraZeneca vaccines, with multiple countries halting its use over fears it could cause blood clots.

I know several people who take and took the vaccine(mostly pfizer) WITHOUT BEING TOLD that it's an experimental vaccine.
They're not giving informed consent(!) and many are being led to believe life returns to normal if they do the patriotic thing and take the shot. Especially the elderly.. there's a lot of trust in pharma. And when you tell them that many of them were criminally sued on multiple occasions, AND found guilty in public trials AND had to post billions in fines, they just forget about it all. There's this cognitive dissonance that there's so so much crime and murder and corruption in pharma.

AZ is up to 19 countries now, 20 if you include the US. All are experimental but no other options unless you want to risk getting covid.
The state I live in only has Pfizer. The choice was made for us by the DICKtator Democrats.
I want the Johnson and Johnson vaccine not the m RNA one. A doctor made a real good case for mRNA vaccines in a post at the American thinker. Still I want the Johnson and Johnson vaccine.
Besides being a new type of vaccine there are the refrigeration issues. Knowing people, if they screw up the temperature requirement, they'll most often lie about it.
Where I worked, we had standards we used to calibrate machines. The standards would suffer unaccounted for damage, falling damage. It would mess up their internals. No one would ever claim credit for dropping the standards. It made it rather more challenging calibrating production machinery.
There may be problems with the AZ vaccine. It might also be that competitors are highlighting or exagerating this and are working a propaganda campaign for obvious profit, market share or reputation damaging.
I read about the clots and thought that like any process it is not a 100%. Maybe all the virus is not killed or weakened. Therefore clots. Or maybe the people taking the AZ vaccine a little sicker (diabetes, hypertension, BMI) than those who took other vaccines.
You would trust J&J? Wow. Most crooked company I know of.
All of the vaccines are not active. We would know already. I had 2 active vaccines, Typhoid and flu. Neither are much fun but not bad.
I had a coworker, who worked for J&J. Another worked for Abbott Labs. If they worked for a crooked company maybe their clearances should be pulled.
