Russia’s Excess Death Toll Hits 422K Since the Start Of The Pandemic

Moscow Times: Russia’s Excess Death Toll Hits 422K

The country was recording more than 1,000 extra fatalities a day during February, official statistics show.

Russia recorded almost 30,000 excess deaths during February, the country’s statistics agency announced Friday — a figure which takes Russia’s total excess fatality count since the start of the coronavirus pandemic above 422,000.

Excess deaths are calculated by comparing fatalities during the pandemic with mortality rates in the same months of previous years. It is seen by demographers as the most reliable indicator of the human toll of the coronavirus.

At more than 422,000 between the start of the pandemic and the end of February — the latest such data is available — Russia has recorded one of the highest excess death tolls in the world, including after adjusting for population size.

WNU Editor: John Hopkins says 99,000 have died from Covid-19 in Russia (link here). Russian official government stats say the number is over 200,000 .... Russian State Agency Says 200,000 Russians Have Died Of Covid-19 Since The Start Of The Pandemic (March 5, 2021). I suspect that the true number of Covid-19 deaths is anywhere between 250,000 to 400,000.

Bottom line.

When this is all over and each country works out how many excess deaths did they get during the pandemic, I predict that we will learn that the true number of Covid-19 deaths are probably two to three times higher than what the John Hopkins numbers will show.

So what if a few million died?
It came from a food market they sure use, so no reparations will have to be paid. So convenient too. Imagine all that paperwork... assessing a few trillion damages to the world.. the dead... the people who committed suicides.. the pain and suffering.. it would mean the end of China...

So ..

It came from a food market. That's what they're going with. Unless you object, of course
