Yes, the numbers are right and it is sad. That said this European paper is mute on the disaster of Europe which has more that one million death.
If it's a naturally occurring pathogen, the typical time frame for a pandemic appears to be between two to three years with a probable time frame of 2.5 years. This would mean the pandemic burns itself out sometime between November 2021 to November 2022 with a most likely end date of around June 2022.
If it's a bio weapon the standard models may not apply nevertheless I would expect the human immune system to get a handle on this sooner rather that. Essentially I wouldn't expect a material difference. Furthermore no one in leadership is behaving as though they think it's a bio weapon. The sudden 180 degree turn by our government appears to be more a distraction than anything to be taken seriously unless our government uses this as an excuse to get us into another pointless war.
While the pandemic may be far from over, at least the "red states" appear to have largely abandoned the failed lockdowns as a strategy. The lockdowns have caused more damage than the virus ever could. What's worse the architects of this strategy are insulated from the effects of this. At a minimum, we should have involved more stakeholders in formulating a strategy.
While this is a serious disease, the 600K death toll is overstated. Due to the financial incentives on the system many who died with COVID-19 are counted as dying of COVID-19. As for total cases, these are overstated as well due to the misuse of PCR tests and substantial fraud within the system. In order to properly evaluate this, one would need good numbers. The official inflated numbers of cases and deaths put forth by our government don't even resemble accurate numbers.

1. False positives - huge lawsuit coming: The PCR test cycles were way too high and everyone wanted to get rich of the pandemic.. they pushed false positives through having too high PCR cycles, something the inventor of the test, Dr Mullis (Nobel Prize winner and all that) warned us about
2. Dr. Mullis also warned us about Fauci and his demonic deep state playbook. He explicitly warned us about Fauci's agenda, that he is not a scientist but an administrator, that he lusts for power.. he told the World all of it.. then he died a year before the outbreak.. soo convenient
3. The Democrats and deep state ghouls used the fake PCR tests to whip everyone into panick.. Suddently there was no more flu.. YEAH RIGHT lol 0 flu cases, that wouldn't even be possible if everyone was wearing hazmat suits and not a shitty face mask where the science is very very very questionably if it protects either transmitter or recipient
