Does it matter with a cabinet like this?

Blinken was one of several top-level Biden administration officials to have gone on vacation the Friday before the Afghan capitol was taken by the group on August 15.

They reckon that Biden received more votes than any other Presidential candidate in the history of the USA. More votes than Roosevelt, Kennedy, Reagan, Clinton, Obama etc. Not bad for a bloke who did very, very little campaigning & had very small crowds at his rallies. Even Obama couldn't bring the people out in big numbers. Trump had very large numbers at his rallies & actually got more votes than any other sitting President in the history of the USA & still lost. Its came out last week that Biden genuinely won more votes than trump in one part of the states, I can't recall which part, but officially, Biden won 100% of the votes & Trump didn't get a single vote. So even though Trump genuinely recieved less votes, officially he got zero. With the 2 sets of voting machines used to count votes during the election, what a suprise it was to find that the CCP has shares in both companies. I've been watching Bidens performances. He's out to lunch. He's frail & forgetful & is frequently gets cross with reporters. Now Biden has destroyed the USAs energy independence & brought the states back to the 1970s. China & Iran will make moves. The Chinese media is openly mocking Biden. China & Russia are currently holding very big military excercises in multiple locations. With his performance in the last 8 months I think its pretty obvious that the election was stolen. No way that moron got more votes in the history of the USA. Keep ducking....🙉

The nonstop bullshit posts that attempt to make Biden look bad at this site are a sharp contrast to all he does on a day-by-day basis while you, here, try to belittle him. tip: Mature posts would be critical of policymaking and not is he looking at his watch or did he nod off, when in fact no proof of those silly questions. If you have proof of such things, then say so. In fact, Fox and you decided he glanced at his watch when in fact real news outlets noted it was the band he wears as a reminder of his own son's death as he honors our military who were killed. Why make the ceremony crappy by falsely trying to make the reality look crappy.

WASHINGTON — President Biden on Friday used his first meeting with Prime Minister Naftali Bennett of Israel to underscore that working closely with a longstanding ally in the Middle East was still a focus of his administration, even as the crisis in Afghanistan has opened him up to criticism that he is ceding ground in the wider region to extremists.

The meeting, originally scheduled for Thursday but delayed a day because of the deadly terrorist bombing at the airport in Kabul that killed 13 U.S. service members, also offered Mr. Biden a brief break from the chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan and the opportunity to project the confidence of a president consulting with a supportive foreign ally.

“I look forward to us establishing a strong personal relationship,” Mr. Biden said, sitting in the Oval Office next to Mr. Bennett. He said the focus of the meeting was to demonstrate “an unshakable partnership between our two nations.” Both men wore masks.

The two leaders have significant policy differences. In an interview with The New York Times several days before Friday’s meeting, Mr. Bennett said he would oppose American-led attempts to reinstate a lapsed nuclear agreement with Iran and would expand West Bank settlements that Mr. Biden opposes.

Mr. Biden said Friday that they planned to discuss America’s commitment to ensuring that Iran never develops a nuclear weapon.

It is of course impossible to say how the Afghanistan withdrawal would have gone down if Donald Trump had still been in the White House instead of Joe Biden. But we can say this much: Whatever happened, the entire Republican Party and the whole right-wing media propaganda machine would be behind it 10,000 percent.

This is no mystery. If the suicide bomb that killed 13 of our soldiers had exploded during a Trump presidency, Fox News and the GOP would have found a way to blame the “woke generals,” as Trump recently called American brass. And if we had taken out an ISIS-K vehicle that posed an immediate threat to our operations in Kabul, as we in fact did on Sunday, Kevin McCarthy and Laura Ingraham would be carrying on as if Trump had fired the rocket himself.

This is business as usual for the American right, of course, but it’s worth remarking on here because on this occasion, it’s considerably more consequential. The United States has just lost a war, for only maybe the second time in its history (the other unambiguous loss is Vietnam). In a different world, this might have meant that, outside of some partisan bickering, leaders of both parties would be mutually invested in repairing America’s international standing and reputation. But given today’s right, that’s a fantasy. They’ll try to use Afghanistan to destroy Biden, and if that means damaging the country, so what?

Too often Biden's policies and goals are based on vote getting, it appears to me. Like h. clinton, one needs to be flexible to try and get [re]elected.
10:42, etc. Have you considered the the consequences of no more ICE transportation come 2030?
Even more perplexing is going through one's home and considering what items do not have fossil fuels somewhere in the chain of events that brought those items into your home and what is going to replace these items' need for fossil based energy to manufacture and deliver said items to you should your electric vehicle not be fully charged?
