* Despite rapid gains for the Taliban, the Pentagon insists there is 'not much' it can do to bolster the army
The Taliban has captured its seventh regional capital and attacked a major city today as jihadist fighters continue to push back beleaguered government forces.
Farah, capital of western Farah province, fell to the Islamists on Tuesday afternoon following a 'brief' fight with security forces, local officials said.
Militants are now in control of the governor's office and police headquarters.
Meanwhile the city of Mazar-i-Sharif, the largest in the country's north, also came under attack from the Taliban, though government forces said they had repelled an initial assault.
Despite rapid territorial gains the Taliban has made across Afghanistan, the Pentagon today insisted there is 'not much' it can do to help government forces - with a spokesman saying bluntly: 'It's their country to defend now.'

My educated guess is they'll declare an emergency soon
If we resist they'll target communications and either take down the internet per kill switch, or through staged hack attacks (see operation hack attack)
There's only one way out:
Immediately form neighbourhood watches and team with the local police
Immediately take back local governments, start with those areas where they still refuse vote audits and handing over logs till this day
Go to the places where you saw pool watches being harassed and denied access just because they were white or Hispanic. THEY did it. THEY will pay for it.
Immediately March towards Washington
Get radios
Store food
Get ammunition
And make your peace with God, they're going ALL IN and so must we or we WILL be enslaved under this new system
