Zero Hedge: Former CIA Officer: "The Most Infamous & Devastating Press Conference Ever Held By An American President"
Kabul's streets are clogged with panicked civilians fleeing the Taliban onslaught of the Afghan capital, American chinook helicopters are hovering above the US Embassy with an emergency evacuation in progress, and the national government propped up for two decades by US money and power is negotiating surrender with barely a fight.
One former CIA officer has observed looking back to Joe Biden's July 8 Afghan policy speech: "This may become the most infamous — and devastating — press conference ever held by an American President," wrote CIA foreign operations veteran Bryan Dean Wright on Sunday.

WNU Editor: I remarked at the time that when that short July 8th news conference ended President Biden scooted out of that room ASAP to escape the reporters who were yelling at him on why he had made the decision to go ahead with the withdrawal of US forces in face of the Taliban offensive.
So yes. I have seen some "infamous and devastating" US Presidential news conferences in my life, and that one is definitely one of the top ones.
But what is more disturbing in the above post is that the person who is claiming this is the "worst Presidential news conference ever" is a former top CIA officer.
In the past few weeks I have been reading numerous accounts on how almost everyone in the Pentagon and the US intelligence community were telling President Biden at the start of his Presidency that a quick withdrawal of US forces will result in the disaster that we are seeing today.
He chose to ignore all of their warnings, and went ahead anyway.
I am willing to bet that in the coming days and weeks when many of these military and intelligence officials gather together to reflect on what has happened, their anger against the US President is only going to intensify.
This is unfortunate. Because in my book these same officials also failed in Afghanistan, if not more so than President Biden.

I concur.
Bryan Dean Wright, a consultant looking for career opportunities and freelance gigs, has found the perfect publicity gimmick to get in outlets such as Fox News: proclaiming he's “a Democrat but” agreeing with Republican positions.
Wright is a former CIA officer whose personal website states that he’s available as a consultant to “businesses, philanthropic groups, and governmental bodies,” as well as for speaking engagements and media work.
Wright’s website highlights his TV and print commentary. But his avenue to getting media attention has frequently been as a Democratic validator for President Donald Trump and his Republican Party.
Offering this advice up free.
When this mess has to be cleaned up and the Taliban routed a 2nrd time, Russia should append the easternmost province to Tajikistan. They should tell the Ethnic Tajiks they can lick Pashtun ass or they could become part of Tajikistan. Their choice. Maybe there should be two plebiscites. One for the Afghani Tajiks petitioning to join Tajikistan and one for the the people of Tajikistan to accept them. That way everyone is on the same page and there is no finger pointing.
Add a northern province or part of one that is majority Uzbek to Uzbekistan. Afterwards, if the southern tip of Uzbekistan touches Hazaraland, giver them, a choice.
Then let the Pashtuns have Kabul and enjoy their rump state. Pashtuns are a minority in Pakistan and are 2nd class citizens there. After all this see ids the Pakistani Army teats them better or worse. I bet it is worse.
Those Pashtun mother fuckers need to grow the fuck up.
So I have been reading the comments on each blogpost and the doctor is not in the house. The good doctor has been up for 4 hours and he has not commented. His boy, Biden, and his team, (D), have been taking hits and justifiably so.
But no apologias or retorts from the good doctor.
What happened?
Simple. The good doctor is awaiting the TPM so he knows what to think and h how to respond online.
STRONZO
And I think this creates a very dangerous situation with China who may think this is the time to move quickly on Taiwan. Especially dangerous because the Biden team may want to show they are not push overs.
@116 while I agree it looks like it and is a filthy common practice in media and among talking heads, it is their right. They swing with the wind like grass, and that, while repulsive, makes them very survivable.. but also dangerous because those who have no moral compass will do anything for money. And it's understandable in a society where you're basically dead without plenty of it.
And the great reset will be a few notches worse in terms of rat race. They want to depopulate by quite a bit, and people like him, but mostly leftists, will bring down the west and when everything collapses they'll blame capitalism or the right.
And then full on war, due to going along with lies for decades.
Women are men and can do no wrong while men are toxic
Whites are racist while looting and murdering blacks are peaceful
Voicing concerns about a democratic election is no longer patriotic duty but makes you a terrorist
If you let these monsters continue to do it, it will happen
"proclaiming he's “a Democrat but” agreeing with Republican positions."
And the Lincoln Project Republicans?
I'll agree 1:51 (while I agree it looks like it and is a filthy common practice in media and among talking head)
Bryan Dean Wright has not been on my radar before. I ain't going to follow him. have a full sleight of people to follow. I will however keep a scorecard and make notes when I run across his writings (reasoning) and predictions.
"A former CIA officer who briefly worked in Sen. Robert Menendez’s office as a legislative assistant, declared Wednesday that he was leaving the Democratic Party, whose “party leadership and political base…is utterly and unapologetically committed to bigotry and violence.”

WOWSERS! a COPY & PASTE MONKEY is HERE!
I skipped past comment # 2 and didn't realize that we are once again in AUGUST presence of the copy and paste L'Artiste itself.
So L'Artiste cannot defend Joe Biden itself, so it declared duck hunting season and went after the messengers like Dean Wright.
Media Matters
Fox News keeps running columns from the same guy explaining, “I'm a Democrat but [insert agreement with GOP]”

It could happen, but it won't. The Constitution gives no guidance or rules in case of a stolen election. The founding Fathers never considered that there would be such ilk as the Democrats.
So the Constitution does not mention it, the Democrats and their media allies will dig in their heels and would rather put the USA through a second Civil War rather than admit that they're liars, thieves and cads.
So not happening, but the Democrats want to do to America what they did to Afghanistan.
Who the f@#k is David Knight?
Anon 6:05 has pretty much nailed it. There doesn't seem to be a Constitutional remedy for this injustice. Fixing it will need to be done via means outside of the Constitution.
The best bets are probably for states to pass laws that will prevent this from happening again. With this in mind TX seems to be moving in the right direction. Essentially the best option and perhaps only option for Democrats seems to be stealing elections.
Of course being the party that FINALLY got us out of Afghanistan will likeky be a plus for them. All else being equal they may not need to steal the next election!!
@606 he's an investigative journalist who focuses on corporate and governmental corruption. He covered for example the Bundy ranch FBI coverup. He's banned petty much on all mainstream big tech platforms like YouTube. He's incredible in work ethics, puts out 3hrs daily of condensed information. Former infowars guy but got fired over his dislike of Trump among other things.
He sounds like a bird-brained dipshit.
I mean a real douchebag.
