Top US officials will visit the Middle East next week to meet with US troops and diplomats.
Secretary of State Antony Blinken will leave this weekend for Germany and Qatar and is also scheduled to meet Afghans evacuated from the country before the Taliban takeover, the Associated Press reported.
Blinken’s jaunt to Qatar will coincide with Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin’s tour with regional allies.
The State Department stressed that Blinken had no plans to meet with representatives of the Taliban, who long operated out of the country before overthrowing the Afghan government last month.

Our Gulf Allies may as well shout at the nearest wall. Political hacks like Blinken and Austin will not understand or acknowledge a word that they say.
They just flounce from one disaster to the next and mouth their platitudes into a camera.
"Our Gulf Allies..." are only useful in recycling petrodollars to US defense contractors and providing new recruits for the CIA's Islamic proxy armies to destabilize Asia.
Beyond that, who cares what they think.

So you're suggesting this is somehow a "victory" even though our NATO "allies" are pissed at us. This defeat was completely unnecessary as it cou) have been easily prevented. The withdrawal could've and should've been coordinated with our "allies." A number of our "allies" were left behind while terrorists in large numbers have been seeded in the US and "allied" countries due to the breath-taking incompetence or evil of team Biden!!
