Politico: Beijing fires warning at EU after MEPs meet Taiwan president
China is increasingly irritated by warming ties between EU politicians and Taiwan.
Beijing responded to a meeting between European lawmakers and Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen on Thursday by immediately warning the EU to correct its "mistake" if it wanted to avoid a deterioration in ties.

The European parliamentarians are also due to meet Taiwan-based U.S. diplomats on Friday, according to an itinerary seen by POLITICO.
