Growing Concerns That China Is Hiding Missiles In Shipping Containers

The SUN: HIDDEN STRIKE China feared to be hiding missiles in shipping containers for Trojan Horse-style plan to launch attack ANYWHERE in world

CHINA has been secretly developing Trojan Horse-style missiles hidden in shipping containers that can be unleashed on enemy ports, experts warn.

Military analysts believe the country’s huge fleet of freighters and fishing vessels could be turned into warships with the use of the secretive container missiles.

Disguised as a regular shipping containers, they can be sneaked on board a vessel to blend in seamlessly with the hundreds of others on board.

The sheer number of container ships in the world makes them harder to pinpoint than warships in the event of war.

WNU Editor: China hiding missiles in containers is actually an old idea .... China’s new long-range cruise missiles are built to be fired from containers on merchant ships (April 4, 2019, SOFREP).

Several years ago there was concern about the Russian Club K system

The Chinese threat outclasses it. The Chinese unlike the Americans actually have a merchant marine. You could lose a number of them and it would be more than a fair trade for the lost of American frigates and cruisers. Shoot your wad against some hard to take down merchant vessels and you are liable to be hit by regular navy. A carrier group cannot afford a war of attrition with some merchant vessels and get stripped of its AA. A carrier has its own AA, which could get mobbed/swarmed.

Santa....coming to your coast with 'presents' in containers...... dropping down a few chimneys near you.
Stop buying crap from China, fewer containers and ships carrying them.....thus easier to spot potential 'present' carrying ships. Wake up stupid western world....get your 'junk' homemade.
Old Mother Shipton, in her cave home, three hundred years ago said 'beware of the yellow peril from the east'. Nobody has listened to her. Too late.

Not a new concept. A Few years ago, it was terrorists modifying a container to fire missiles that people were worried about. But China has a real history of using civilian vessels as weapons.

Even if we stopped buying anything and everything from China today, they could simply put some containers on a ship from somewhere else to hit us, with total deniability.

The only choice we have is to harden our ports with something like Iron Dome. And harden our infrastructure against EMP, so if someone wants a piece of us, they are going to have to really commit, and realize they are going to suffer too.

Iron dome and EMP hardening are good.

But you learn from making things. You learn also by making things for a long time. Machines wear out and cause manufacturing problems. Then you learn how to manufacture better.
