Zero Hedge/Epoch Times: China's True COVID-19 Death Toll 366 Times Higher Than Official Figure, Analyst Says
The Chinese regime has likely understated the COVID-19 death rate by as much as 17,000 percent in a systematic data suppression campaign to sustain its political image, according to a U.S. analyst.
That would put the number of COVID-19 deaths in China at around 1.7 million rather than 4,636, the two-year cumulative death figure that the Chinese authorities have maintained on the books. That’s 366 times the official figure.
Those findings made by George Calhoun, director of the quantitative finance program at Stevens Institute of Technology, were based on data as of January generated by a model developed by The Economist.
A vast majority of China’s officially recorded deaths came from Wuhan during the first three months of the pandemic, with only hundreds more reported in the rest of the country.

I believe them.
Since the start of the pandemic Fujian province has recorded 1,440 Covid cases and one death. But I personally know two families who live in the province and they lost loved ones in 2020 that they are 100% sure it was due to Covid. But the official cause of their deaths was recorded as pneumonia.

How is 10:25 a CCP troll? I suppose any one could be. Until someone provides verifiable evidence of who they are as I've done here repeatedly we cannot "know" for certain.
With that said I think he/she is taking our (America's) situation and applying to that of another country. Obviously our cases and deaths are vastly overstated and he assumes China's must be as well. Very respectfully each nation's situation will be different and without real time data from the inside we cannot "know" for certain what China's true death toll is.
A bit off topic, the winter Olympics are coming to China soon. With the virus raging why is their no talk of canceling the Olympics. If they were being held in America now, there would be endless talk from all over the world calling for cancelation of the Olympics until the authorities gave in and canceled them. While China gets kid glove treatment from all quarters, any critique of America no matter how ridiculous is not only fair game but it's actively encouraged.
The media has often cited China's response to this as the "model" COVID response that we all need to implement. If these "analysts" are correct, perhaps the US response as implemented by former president Trump is truly the best response
This is a bit of an irony. President Trump and his team have been raked over the proverbial coals for our response when in actuality it is beyond brilliant!! Thus far team Biden has done nothing to change it except for deciding at home tests are acceptable and five day quarantines are okay as opposed ten day quarantines. Frankly I trust the at home tests more than the PCR tests and Trump was much more willing to hurt the economy to fight this than the Democrats are
Trump was accused of "placing the economy over lives" or some other bull shit. In actuality the relaxation of quarantine guidelines and testing happened under team Biden!! Where is cult leader Fauci who once told us COVID-19 is the greatest threat we've ever faced?
As I suspected he believed nothing he actually said, is drunk on his power, and he's a Democrat party hack. He shouldn't be taken seriously. Fortunately a number of us who once took him seriously aren't now. As for a number of us including myself, we recognized him for the fraud he is from the very start.
