The Houthis already have an advantage in people inside of Yemen. They appear to be motivated also. Unless a revitalized Iran give the Houthis some material or intel advantage I expect them to start losing in the next 2 to 3 years.

Those skyscrapers are expensive. Hurting the tourist trade the UAE is trying to build would hurt financially. Those are powerful incentives for the UAE to commit more resources or change tactics to defeat the Houthis.

It might lead to the negotiating table and it will lead nowhere as the Houthis will not cede any land they conquered. So it will be back to bombs and bullets. The Saudis and UAE are not trying that hard. There have been claims of school buses being hit and those might be true (try imagining school buses and K-12 in North Yemen. I can't.), but the Houthis have not seen carpet bombing yet. Carpet bombing might happen to get the factories where rocket assemblies are made, but the exact location can't quite be nailed down.

If the US gets involved heavily into Ukraine, is Blinken stupid enough to tell the Saudis what to do?

Always kinda interesting to me when some ballistics get shot down.
