RT: Kremlin responds to US troop deployment on Ukrainian border

Washington’s military presence threatens Russia’s security and won’t be ignored, President Putin's spokesman warned

The US troop deployment in Romania increases risks for Russia’s security, and will prompt Moscow to take countermeasures, Kremlin spokesman, Dmitry Peskov said on Wednesday.

He was referring to the US Army’s 101st Airborne Division, which is currently stationed in Romania on the border with Ukraine.

Speaking to reporters, Peskov noted that “the closer American troops are to our borders, the greater danger we are in.” He went on to say that Moscow factors in such a military presence when developing its security framework.

Update: US troop deployment in Romania raises threat against Russia: Kremlin (Anadolu Agency)

WNU Editor: The Kremlin has made it very clear at the start of the war that if US forces enter Ukraine, they will be targeted by Russian forces. In short. It will mean war.

F35

"Number built 840+ as of October 2022"

Some are losses already due to crashes, but 500 F35's is feasible.

500 F-35s over Russia will result in multiple nuclear strikes on NATO and US air bases.

"500 F-35s over Russia will result in multiple nuclear strikes on NATO and US air bases."

Do we really give a fuck? Seriously! WNU wondered if NATO troops would man NAASMS Air Defense Systems In Ukraine.

If they did, so what?

Why should the Russians bend all the rules? Russian have flown under North Korean, North Vietnamese, Chinese and Egyptian flags. One rule for the Russians and another rule for NATO.

Maybe Putin should have a stretch goal and make the trains run as well as Mussolini. Unfortunately. Putin is too busy stealing from Russia's coffers to get the trains to run on time.

For the life of me I am wondering what assembly on a rail car wears out and hasd to be replaced from an overseas supplier, because Russia has been run into the ground. At least Hitler had an excuse for being a stupid asshole. He had encephalitis lethargica. There was an epidemic from 1917 to 1927. Hitler had a physical brain defect. What is Putin's excuse for being stupid and an asshole?

"A special role was also played by Soviet anti-aircraft gunners. They not only trained Vietnamese People’s Army (VPA) personnel, but also took part in fighting themselves."

Source? Why "Russia Beyond"

https://www.rbth.com/history/332396-how-soviets-fought-against-americans

K why should Russia gets so worked up if Americans are manning the NASAMS Air Defense Systems In Ukraine or otherwise deployed to Ukraine. the Americans would be following the Russian playbook.

"Over a thousand military trucks have been lost, which are also specialized for military purposes and there weren’t enough of them even at the war’s beginning. Russian was further crippled by the absence of a replaceable item on all Russian railroad cars."

K you can look the above up. It is rather nonspecific and therefore cryptic. You call it bullshit. It depends if you trust the website. They sing a different song than WNU. you might say or suspect they have rose tinted glasses. This is why I tried to find another source for the rail car problem stated by the website. I found nothing so far. I suspect it is either that pneumatic braking system, which would affect the the safe operation or train length or it is the couplers. If it the couplers that would be very sad, if it is the pneumatic system, it still shows Russia to be a basket case.

I assume that Russia will fix the rail car situation, but will it matter operationally for the next 6 months?

If you can't get you logistic right, how do you expect to win?

Fun fact.

The US provided 10% of the tanks and 10% of the aircraft Russia used during WW2. Okay 1-0%, so Russia might not have got to Berlin in May 1945, but they would have got there in 1945. You could argue that. You could win the argument hands down with several Monte Carlo exercises (instead of just being loquacious).

But America provided Russia with the majority of tits trucks during WW2. Without the trucks would Russia have been to Berlin in 1945 at all or would be a helluva lot weak with way more dead merely at the fates of Warsaw at the end of 1945?

"Perhaps most directly, without Lend-Lease trucks, rail engines, and railroad cars, every Soviet offensive would have stalled at an earlier stage, outrunning its logistical tail in a matter of days. In turn, this would have allowed the German commanders to escape at least some encirclements, while forcing the Red Army to prepare and conduct many more deliberate penetration attacks in order to advance the same distance. Left to their own devices, Stalin and his commanders might have taken twelve to eighteen months longer to finish off the Wehrmacht; the ultimate result would probably have been the same ..." - wiki

Point is the Russians still have not learned all the lessons of Ww2. They have not learned logistics and it shows in their ineptitude in not defeating an opponent 3 times smaller than them. It shows in the utter corruption that befell their equipment in storage.

But the buying a mega yachts take a lot of time and attention. Putin and the other oligarchs simply did not have the time for inspections
