The Kremlin has vowed to re-take all territory in four annexed regions that has been liberated by Ukraine in recent days, vowing they will be 'Russian forever.'
Dmitry Peskov, Putin's spokesman, spoke out as the Russian leader signed bills formally annexing Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson - Ukrainian regions which Russia at least partially occupies - to the mainland.
'The given territories will be taken back,' Peskov told reporters, following Ukrainian offensives that regained territory in three out of four of the regions. They 'will be Russian forever and will not be returned,' he added.
