Brazil's far-right President Jair Bolsonaro failed to concede defeat to leftist Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva in his first public remarks since losing Sunday's election.
In a national address on Tuesday that lasted just a few minutes, Bolsonaro thanked Brazilians who voted for him.
He didn't mention election results, but reiterated that he would follow the country's constitution, which stipulates a transition of power on January 1.

It means "I believe you cheated and stuffed the ballot boxes, but I decline to litigate it or enter into a civil war"
Most judges duck out of hard rulings. They do not use the constitution of their land, but rather take notice of ambient pressure and temperature (i.e. look out for those that promise mob violence). They do not reason using logic from a set of axioms. To do so is often dangerous. Besides, many educated elites, who graduated from universities would not understand what they were doing.
There is and should be an asterisk by Lulu's win.
