If he leaves this will end the changes and direction that Twitter needs to go. Which in the long run will be unfortunate for everyone.

Of course he picks the replacement so it's nit necessarily bad in the long run
^ If he does pick a replacement that's anything like himself, they'll just go after him/her as well. In the end, it'll all go back to the Cancel Culture status quo. The enemy has become permanently embedded, while our side spends more time picking itself apart than focusing on what's most important.
