Zelenskiy warns against delaying military support after German chancellor’s reticence at Davos summit Germany’s chancellor avoided committing to the supply of Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine at the Davos summit on Wednesday, although he held the door open to a positive decision at a special summit of western defence ministers on Friday.
Olaf Scholz did not mention the Leopard tanks at all when a Ukrainian delegate asked him “why the hesitancy” in signing off their re-export – prompting an apparently frustrated Ukrainian president to warn the same forum against delay.

The delays are because M-1 tanks are a logistical problem for Ukraine. Not just getting them there, but the proper care and feeding of the beasts is just not easy for Ukraine. (IE: fuel supply chain)
Seems that everyone is in a big hurry to (say that they will) unload all their old tracked armor to Ukraine. When you look closely, you'll see all the new NATO armor is wheeled. So dispensing the old tanks and Bradleys to the UKR front seems like a good idea.
Upgraded M60s from the U.S are an ideal fit for ukranian bridges, roads, maintenance and crews.
Eventually French Leclercs will also join the fray and they are no joke
The europeans and US are leading the Ukies on.... They are saying yes, yes, we are going to send more weapons....and are best ones too. They do not intend to follow thru.
It is a lie. They are sending dribbles to show they are in full support to the Ukies.
They will not send significant amounts because the Russian offensive will happen before too long, Then the Ukie problem will be at the point that these new weapon systems will not have to be delivered.
But their "little western plan/narritive" will be a continuing success. Bleed the Russians out and use the Ukrainians to do it.
If the Ukies get slaughtered in the mean time, no big deal right?
It is an evil game they are playing. They all went to the Madilyn Albright, Victoria nulland, Hillary Clinton school of human sanctity.
