Politico: Russia jamming U.S. smart bombs in Ukraine, leaked docs say
A separate technical problem, since fixed, had been causing the munitions to fail.
American-made smart bombs are falling victim to Russian electronic jamming in Ukraine, causing them to miss their targets, according to leaked documents and confirmed by a Defense Department official.
In some cases, the weapons were also failing to detonate due to a technical issue, which Ukrainian troops have since addressed.
The news adds to an increasingly bleak picture of the state of Ukraine’s military that has emerged from a trove of top secret intelligence documents that leaked on social media and came to light over the past week. The documents show that Washington has grave concerns about Kyiv’s dwindling ammunition and air defenses, which could cause it to fall short of its goals for the anticipated spring counteroffensive.

The FBI is reportedly investigating a former US Navy noncommissioned officer who was identified as a pro-Russian propagandist who allegedly played a key role in spreading intelligence documents uploaded online by suspected leaker Jack Teixeira.
Sarah Bils, 37, a veteran who served at Whidbey Island in Washington state, was outed as “Donbass Devushka,” which translates to Donbas Girl, an online personality behind a vast network of pro-Kremlin blogs, podcasts and fundraising accounts.
While Bils touted herself online as a Ukraine-born woman backing Russia’s invasion and spreading misinformation against Kyiv, she was actually born in New Jersey and now lives in Oak Harbor, Washington, the pro-Ukraine North Atlantic Fella Organization (NAFO) reported.
NAFO revealed her true identity after comparing footage from Bils’ Donbass Devushka broadcasts with a June 2020 interview she had using her real identity with the Aquarium Co-op Podcast, where she voiced her expertise and love for tropical fish.
I thought we have been using these JDAM bombs effectively in the dozens of places we attack other people around the world. It seems that if anybody knew these bombs weaknesses, it would be us. I thought I read years ago that JDAM was a method of getting rid of our supply of dumb bombs. I hope, after spending 800 billion dollars a year on our military, that these are systems we give to others when we want others to kill people for us and these are not our go to bombs. I know, hope is not a strategy.

Incredible conspiracy fantasy lmao. Jack Texiera had never met or spoken to that girl. That girl just ran a twitter account that was skeptical of the war lies and the NAFO trolls doxxed her. Both US service members. I swear most of you have never even read more than a headline in the past decade.
