Ukrainian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrij Melnyk called for “10 times more” Western military aid as his country struggles to fight off the Russian invasion.

“We are thankful to our allies for their military help. But: it is not enough. Ukraine needs 10 times more to finish Russian aggression this year,” Melnyk, an outspoken former Ukrainian ambassador to Germany, wrote on Twitter on Saturday.

Melnyk called on Ukraine’s supporters to “cross all artificial red lines” – a reference to hesitance among some allies over supplying Ukraine with particularly powerful weapons systems – and called on backers to spend 1 per cent of gross domestic product (GDP) on weapons deliveries for Ukraine.

Jesus just how powerful is Russia? Maybe more capable than the NATO sock puppets on this site had mislead us to believe, eh.

Most aren't fulfilling their 2% GDP commitments to NATO but they're going to commit 1% of GDP every year to Ukraine until eternity? Why doesn't anyone moderate which of these yahoos gets put in front of a camera?

They have access to the most expensive new york PR firms and they still they get the idea that the western public wants to hear this?

Melnyk especially just needs to go. The stuff he did to get himself fired as the ambassador to Germany should've precluded him from any other position in the government. Him telling Elon Musk to go fuck himself definitely contributed to Starlink's decision to throttle drone traffic on the network.
