Al Jazeera: Saudi, Omani envoys hold peace talks with Houthi leaders in Yemen
The visit displays progress in the Oman-mediated dialogue between Saudi Arabia and Yemen’s Houthi rebels.
Saudi and Omani delegations have held talks with Houthi officials in the Yemeni capital Sanaa as part of international efforts to find a settlement to Yemen’s nine-year conflict, Houthi-run media reported.
The visit indicates progress in the Oman-mediated consultations between Riyadh and Sanaa, which run parallel to United Nations peace efforts.
Negotiations also gained momentum since archrivals Saudi Arabia and Iran agreed to re-establish ties in a deal brokered by China.

It'll take about one week for the screams of Saudi reparations to Yemen to derail these talks.
/Iran still wants to win its proxy war.
Time will tell. What's funny is that it's possible that the Abraham Accords set the stage for these new China-led efforts by proving that there were deals there to be made in the region.
Of course, the main advantage that China has is a more or less permanent foreign policy run by sane adults.
