Newsweek: Ukraine Encircling Russians in Bakhmut Day After Wagner ‘Victory’: Reports
Ukrainian troops were able to semi-encircle the city of Bakhmut and fight Russian forces in the area, according to Hanna Maliar, the Ukrainian deputy defense minister, on Sunday.
“The enemy failed to surround Bakhmut and they lost part of the dominant heights around the city. This means that the advance of our troops in the suburbs along the flanks, which is still ongoing, makes it very difficult for the enemy to stay in Bakhmut. Our troops took the city in a semi-encirclement, which gives us the opportunity to destroy the enemy. Therefore, the enemy [Russia] has to defend itself in the part of the city it controls,” Maliar wrote on Telegram.

Wagner group...who have been described by fazman and his clown posse as a bunch of EX cons. Killed most of the ukies defending Bakhmut in the last 6 months. I am sure that Wagner and the former restaurant owner are not too worried.

I don't make it up bud. That's your department. I just point out that what you said about these guys being a bunch of EX cons and therefore some how weak and next to useless, destroyed about 70% of the Ukrainian army In the Bakhmut zone of operations.

70% nope , anyway just round it up to 90 % . Throw enough meat into a grinder and you'll.make progress . It's no secret return where Wagner gets recruits from . The fact that it took 10 months shows how professional the AFU is.

Wagner uses convicts. The narrative is that these guys are an undisciplined rabble.
Current estimates of of Wagner strength is 20 to 30 thousand and that counts the truck drivers and the guys In mali , rest of Africa and rest of the world.
AFU is a US/EU trained army
AFU is pronounced as a professional well equipped and well trained army. That is the spiel anyway.
AFU troops in the Bakhmut zone: Varied 10 to 20 thousand at any one time.
According to military doctrine a, in an urban environment, The attacker needs a 5 to 10 men for each defender they face
So the Ukrainians had more than enough troops to hold the russians off..
So after 10 months.. The brigands hooligans and malcontents of Wagner beat the AFU.
How does that prove the AFU's professionalism?
