Bloomberg: As Iran Emerges From Isolation, Israel Is Feeling Cornered
(Bloomberg) -- Early this month, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a mock wartime meeting of his security cabinet in a bunker. Communities in northern Israel are preparing shelters for a long-term conflict. And the military is working overtime on a new laser system to intercept rockets.
Their focus is Iran and its nuclear ambitions.
For years, Israel has considered a nuclear-armed Iran to be an existential threat, and directed its energies to confronting it and its regional proxies in Syria, Lebanon and the Palestinian areas.
But much is new in the past few months. Iran has emerged from diplomatic isolation, forging a key military alliance with Russia from which it’s seeking air defenses, restoring diplomatic ties with Saudi Arabia and pushing its allies to fire missiles at Israel. It is also enriching more and more uranium, including a small amount almost to weapons grade — while denying any plans for making a bomb.

WNU Editor: The Middle East is rapidly changing. The wars that have engulfed the Middle East for the past few years appear to be ending, and Iran is restoring ties with Saudi Arabia and other Gulf states. But more importantly there is a growing perception in the Middle East that U.S. power and influence in the region is in decline, a scenario that does not favor a country like Israel that is heavily dependent on US economic and military aid.

Just another reason to make Ukraine big Israel
It’s a lot more than just Iran. Up til this year there was an unspoken de facto alliance between Israel and the Saudi monarchy. That relationship is on the decline as well and it’s arguably a more important development for Israel than a diplomatically resurgent Iran.
This is an aside:
if you skim the sources of so many if not most of the articles posted here, and supporting links, you will notice that just about all come from MSM and/or main stream tv.
there is an exception sometimes with a reliance on the tabloid Mirror, and often on the anonymous Zero Hedge
My point: if so many readers here distrust and badmouth MSM, why are they getting info and believing stuff they get from MSM?
^^^ Obviously former, retired Fred does not know how to lie convincingly.
One saying is that good lies contain a kernel of the truth. Fred would have us believe that lying by the complicit media is Boolean it is either all lie or all truth.
In his world there is no shading, stretching facts, etc.
I did not argue how many links WNU used or from where. I argued about how the MSM went about lying.
Russian troll you rebuttals are as weak as Fred's. at least Fred has an excuse. he is near the same age as Slow Joe Biden. what is your excuse? Fetal alcohol (vodka) syndrome?
snippy diaper lad badmouthing as always to assert he is superior etc but time after time he shows he is just the opposite and must insult others in order to think he is top dog when in fact he is sniveling lowlife. Age?
I will put Biden's abilities as leader against Trump's anytime. Recall: Trump is now the same age Biden was when Trump called him old and incompetent. Is Trump's youthfulness what has him going to be on trial in Miami, Georgia, and NY?
If you distrust MSM, tell us what, by contrast, you view as truthful, insightful, ? In sum: put up or shut the fuck up, fruitcake
You almost have the Fred ChatGPT down, but you still left tells.
I like how when Fred belly aches and moans about Breitbart. So you get into the weeds and ask him what is wrong with half a dozen to a dozen different stories carried by Breitbart, Fred skedaddles, bugs out, flees.
It is not like you could get the curmudgeon to compare facts, tenor, etc. between a Breitbart article and a NYT article about the same incident. That would require reading beyond the headline.
