WNU Editor: I have been hearing reports since yesterday that Ukraine President Zelensky wants to open talks with Moscow for a peace deal.
This decision was made after President Zelensky visited the flooded regions of Kherson and was briefed by his military commanders on the state of the counteroffensive. Apparently the Ukraine counteroffensive is not producing the breakthrough that many were hoping for, and that personnel and equipment losses have been staggering.
I am personally skeptical of these rumors.
It is too soon to know if Ukraine's counteroffensive will succeed and/or fail.
There is also the problem of Ukraine's allies. Many have made it very clear that a peace deal would only reward Putin, and they would strongly oppose these talks should they occur.

It is too early. But the odds are not in the ukies favor.
Thing is ...what will NATO do if their minion stumbles...
The senate got satellite phones, the house just went on an unexpected early recess and guess what...One of the largest NATO military exercises ever planned goes on line next week.
It's wartime. It would be trivial to have Zelensky killed "in a russian missile strike" and indefinitely replaced by Budanov without election.
Russia is losing. the leading indicators show it.
Yep
No way nose. How much ground have ukies retaken? 100 miles? 10 miles? 1 mile? 1 yard?
Define "losing"
This game is far from over and the ukies may just do something here.
But to say:
Russia is losing. the leading indicators show it
Is an outright jackass lie.
What leading indicators are you talking about.
Btw. I have not seen any t90s burning lately, but those Brads got hit real hard. But the big loss was not the tanks or IFVs, but the recovery vehicle. They are hard to replace.
that would explain that general too? Zurkhov?
They got hit in a minefield and probably an artillery strike, that was a mine clearing tank
