CNN: CNN Poll: Majority of Americans oppose more US aid for Ukraine in war with Russia
Most Americans oppose Congress authorizing additional funding to support Ukraine in its war with Russia, according to a new CNN poll conducted by SSRS, as the public splits over whether the US has already done enough to assist Ukraine.
Overall, 55% say the US Congress should not authorize additional funding to support Ukraine vs. 45% who say Congress should authorize such funding. And 51% say that the US has already done enough to help Ukraine while 48% say it should do more. A poll conducted in the early days of the Russian invasion in late February 2022 found 62% who felt the US should have been doing more.
Partisan divisions have widened since that poll, too, with most Democrats and Republicans now on opposing sides of questions on the US role in Ukraine.

This war should never have happened. Putin has been grinding his teeth for decades to regroup the USSR. All the Russian mil exercises on that border in the lead up. The invasions of Georgia and Crimea under previous US administrations. He just hadn't had the actual opportunity until now. If Biden hadn't wrecked the Trump strategy US energy independence (and pending dominance), Russia would still be forced to sell its oil at market prices of ~$30 bbl. Not the current $80-100. Combine that with the suicidal and humiliating AFG surrender. Putin took his measure of Biden and decided that this was his time to act.
We had a four year respite from new wars under Trump.

1. abortion rights?
2. stiffer gun control laws?
3. foreign policy?
who benefits from an American in evolvement but not actual war with a foreign nation? the industrial military complex.
43.1 Billion is not much. The US could save that much many times over by closing the borders. Compare it to the budget as whole or various budget items.
The Democrats do not listen to the people. They lie to them, but they do not truly listen. Abortion, euthanasia or transgenderism are not about listening to people but distracting them and culling them.
