I do not understand Russia. They have some good field fortifications. Yet, they are coming out of them to counterattack all along the line and are taking horrendous casualties.

An open trench is not much of a problem for cluster munitions. A trench covered with logs and dirt is. An enclosed trench with firing ports still can be successfully bombarded and taken.

But man attacking all along the line and all those Russian casualties. Promotion is fast!

People are saying the S-300 and S-400 are crap. Some of those are keyboard warriors. Whatever. I do see however Russia is losing its air defense they lost 2 S-400s and at least one S-300 (2?) recently plus another big set up.

Russian pilots and others should be very, very worried. The days of Russian pilots slinging glide bombs across the line may be coming to an end.
