Secretary of State Antony Blinken warned a small group of lawmakers last week that his department is tracking the possibility that Azerbaijan could soon invade Armenia, according to two people familiar with the conversation.
The call indicates the depth of concern in the administration about Azerbaijan’s operations against a breakaway region in the west of the country and the possibility of the conflict spreading.

Tells Armenpress Report about Blinken Warning Lawmakers About Azerbaijani Attack on Armenia ‘Is Inaccurate’ (Asbarez). But as the above France 24 video report shows. Azerbaijan military forces have already crossed the border in some parts of the province and they are in control of a key highway. The Azerbaijan President has also publicly claimed this Armenian province as being historically Azerbaijan. My sources in Russia are also telling me that Azerbaijan will make a military advance in the coming weeks as the world's attention is now on the Israeli-Hamas war.
Sighhh ..... it looks like the Caucasus are on the verge (again) of a major war.

This is Muslim versus Christian. They won't admit it and it is the last thing those in Washington care about.
Blinken warned about it or didn't is just a stupid Washington game to distract.
The NSA and other intel agencies knew or could guess with the available data with a high degree of certainty.
Lots of people in Washington knew, but they are so engrossed in their power plays, games and graft. Biden only cares about his 10%. Jill only cares about her social status. She wants the full 4 or 8 year ride. Jill is a Darwin Award winner and it does not seems to bother her in the least.
Schumer seems genuinely shocked and chagrined about the attack on Israel. So he picked the party with the most power to join. It is a party that does not care much about Israel. What has Schumer done about that or done for a strong defense? There is and will be no aircraft carrier named after Schumer like there was for the Democrat Stennis, because Schumer has not "done the work".
While very powerful in Washington circles the man is a piss ant. His first crusade was to tilt at the Breakfast Cereal Monopoly. That was a burning issue. It is why we elect senators. He spends his time doing things like going at General mills and Kelloggs and then wonders why foreign policy and other things are a mess.
Joe Biden as executive (we know he is not) could have sent troops to Armenia. It is feasible. The US sent troops to Armenia to train in exercises with Armenia forces in the last 3 months.
So sent them the fuck again. Have the exercise on the route the Azeris want to invade. If the Azeris fire on our troops fire back, bomb them from Diego Garcia or nuke them.
But Biden is not actually in charge and he is more worried about his ice cream and 10%.
I would be happy with more Russian troops there and no American troops there, but Putin cannot walk and chew gum at the same time.
