Colombia Reports: FARC dissidents suspend peace talks with Colombia’s government
Guerrillas vow to continue to uphold ceasefire.
FARC dissident group EMC said Sunday that it had suspended peace talks, claiming that Colombia’s government has failed to comply with made agreements.
The guerrillas said that they would uphold a ceasefire that was agreed with the government of President Gustavo Petro three weeks ago.
According to an EMC press release, the peace talks were suspended because of “processes of militarization” in areas that are largely controlled by units of the FARC dissident organization.

There is only one way to deal with FARC. Kill the leadership bloodily. Kill their supporters in Venezuela bloodily.
Unconditional surrender.
FARC no longer has a safe base in Ecuador. The socialist PM is out. Although it might have a safe base again in 3 to 5 years.
Kill the Venezuelan leadership and FARC will disappear. We are getting near to that point.

But I would call only 30,000 illegally crossing instead of 300,000 per year a great victory. Democrats would call it electoral defeat.

Without Ecuador, Venezuela and a robust drug trade the FARCer won't last long.
