DW: North Korea's Kim wants to 'accelerate' war preparations
North Korean leader Kim Jong Un urged his party to be more ready for conflict at the annual year-end meeting. Earlier, Kim had warned that North Korea would retaliate with a nuclear attack if provoked.
North Korean state media said Thursday leader Kim Jong Un has urged his party to "accelerate" war preparations, including its nuclear program, to counter confrontational moves by the US.
Kim asked the party to "further accelerate the war preparations" across sectors such as nuclear weapons and civil defense, the Korean Central News Agency reported.
"He (Kim) set forth the militant tasks for the People's Army and the munitions industry, nuclear weapons and civil defense sectors," KCNA said.

We are not far off from having leaders like him. Look at ours. Ours arguably are worse, just look better.
Think about the crimes OUR leadership is suspected, and often documented. It is horrendous.
And no, I don't mean Trump and his sexual harassment case. This, as many of you know, was argued in front of a civil court - not criminal(!) court, ie the level for proof must be much lower and even hearsay can be accepted in an unfriendly court (like in Democrat cities).
But think of Biden. His own daughter, in her journal, wrote about unappropriate showers. His son, in his own writings, admits 10% go to his father "the big guy", for all sorts of crimes, from money laundry, to war for pay.
No matter who "wins" in 2024 - one thing is clear, we need criminal courts, and criminal investigations, public trials and convictions, and then ideally public executions, to move on from our own madness, our own guilt and our own highly corrupt leadership.
Kim might have a pimple on his face, but ours have paled around with Epstein - I know, guilty until proven innocent, and being associated is not a crime. BUT what is a crime is to kill Epstein in prison and for the media to look away like the blair witch is standing in the room, is just -- a public and national humiliation.
