'Five Eyes' Western Intelligence Dossier Claims China Lied About Human-To-Human Transmission And Refused To Help Other Countries To Prepare A Vaccine

* A leaked 15-page dossier from the 'Five Eyes' intelligence alliance says China's secrecy over the pandemic is an 'assault on international transparency'
* The US, Canada, the UK, Australia and New Zealand intelligence agencies have exposed a series of cover-ups
* It claims Five Eyes found a 'deadly denial of human-to-human transmission'
* Researchers who tried to raise the alarm have been silenced or disappeared and evidence of the outbreak was destroyed, it adds

China lied about the human-to-human transmission of coronavirus, made whistle-blowers disappear and refused to help nations develop a vaccine, a leaked intelligence dossier reveals.

The 15-page document drawn up by the Five Eyes security alliance brands Beijing's secrecy over the pandemic an 'assault on international transparency' and points to cover-up tactics deployed by the regime.

It claims that the Chinese government silenced its most vocal critics and scrubbed any online scepticism about its handling of the health emergency from the internet.

China has roundly come under fire for suppressing the scale of its early outbreak which did not afford other nations time to react before the disease hit their shores.

Five Eyes - the pooling of intelligence by the US, UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand - laid bare its scathing assessment of the Xi Jinping administration in a memo obtained by the Australian Saturday Telegraph.

'Close Encounters' Between U.S. And Russian Aircraft Are Not Going To End Soon

Business Insider/Military.com: US pilots' close encounters with Russian aircraft aren't likely to end any time soon, experts say

* US Navy aircraft had several close encounters with Russian fighters in April, part of a pattern of what US officials call unsafe behavior by Russian pilots.
* Experts say that despite the risks inherent in those encounters, they're likely to continue as long as Russia sees them as beneficial, experts say.

The US Navy last week watched a single-seat Russian Sukhoi Su-35 Flanker-E come within 25 feet of a P-8A Poseidon reconnaissance aircraft while at high speed and inverted, causing wake turbulence and putting the US "pilots and crew at risk" over the Mediterranean Sea.

Days later, another Flanker mimicked the move over the same waters, zooming in front of a P-8 and exposing the sub hunter aircraft to its jet exhaust.

Top US officials in Europe and the Defense Department said the incidents involved Russian pilots behaving in an unsafe, unprofessional manner. Experts argue that, while the intercepts expose a pattern of behavior from the Russian military, they also show that Russia is willing to capitalize on the publicity the aerial maneuvers bring, even during a global pandemic.

Warzone/The Drive: Arizona-Based Air Force Jets Filled The Sky Over Phoenix For Jaw-Droppingly Huge Flying Salute

The impressive display of support for those on the front lines of the pandemic was the largest of its kind so far.

What started with the Air Force's Thunderbirds flying over their hometown of Las Vegas in a show of support for those on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic, has spread across the nation. Although the Thunderbirds and Blue Angels have gotten the most attention with their massive 12 ship, twin-formation flyovers, flying units throughout the country are doing the same with a wide mix of aircraft, from jet trainers to B-2 bombers. Air Force airpower based in Arizona, namely F-16 and F-35 fighters from Luke Air Force Base's 56th Fighter Wing, along with a KC-135 tanker from the 161st Air Refueling Wing based out of Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, executed what just may be the biggest 'hold my beer' moment imaginable by putting an absolutely massive formation into the air that included 15 core aircraft, with as many as 18 being involved for portions of the flight.

The recent who-is-weak-on-China verbal war between Biden and Trump captures a fundamental issue in the 2020 race: how to confront China. The next administration’s China policy will be most critical for America’s future as well as the world’s because assumptions about China and the U.S. position in the world are in flux.

Every state makes its foreign policy based on assumptions about its society and international politics. These assumptions are usually anchored in the past. While there is great value in learning from history, it is also true that conditions change, and what was true of the past is no longer.

During the Cold War, the U.S. foreign policy was largely based on assumptions that the Soviet Union's leaders were determined to spread communism worldwide; they possessed strategic patience and were adaptive in pursuing their goal. The USSR would never be America’s partner but a long-term rival, and therefore it must be contained. Moreover, U.S. decision-makers assumed that American society would fully support this approach.

B-52 Bombers And F-15 Fighters Fly Over New Orleans To Honor Health Care Workers

Air Force pilots flying B-52 bomber planes will salute Louisiana's essential workers in a flyover on Friday, The Advocate reports.

Two B-52 Stratofortresses out of the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base New Orleans will fly over medical centers in New Orleans and Baton Rouge. The program will start in New Orleans around 9:30 a.m., and then, along with F-15s fighter aircraft, will make their way to Baton Rouge at noon.

Nicolas Maduro’s regime in Venezuela is paying Iran in gold for help with Venezuela’s crumbling oil industry, U.S. Special Representative for Venezuela Elliott Abrams said at a conversation with Washington-based think tank Hudson Institute this week.

Over the past few weeks, Iran has been sending more and more planes to Venezuela, Abrams said.

“Our guess is that they are being paid in gold,” he said, referring to the payment for Iran, at the Hudson Institute, a conservative Washington think tank.

“Those planes that are coming in from Iran that are bringing things for the oil industry are returning with the payments for those things: gold,” Abrams said.

In April alone, Venezuela loaded 9 tons of gold, worth around US$500 million, on airplanes for Iran, in exchange for Iranian help for repairing Venezuela’s crumbling refineries, sources with direct knowledge of the matter told Bloomberg this week.

North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un Appears In Public For The First Time In 20 Days





Daily Mail: North Korea state media claims Kim Jong-Un is ALIVE and has made his first public appearance for 20 days at a fertiliser plant alongside his sister

* The despot cut ribbon at the opening of a fertiliser factory in Sunchon, state media said, and released photos
* Kim 'attended the ceremony' and 'all participants broke into thunderous cheers of 'hurrah!' when he appeared
* The dictator was accompanied by several senior North Korean officials, including younger sister Kim Yo Jong
* He had not been seen since a Workers' Party politburo meeting on April 11 and there were rumours he had died

North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un has made his first public appearance for 20 days - appearing to dispel rumours he has died.

The despot cut the ribbon at the opening of a fertiliser factory in Sunchon, state media reported, and released pictures supposedly showing the event.

Kim was seen smiling and talking to aides at the ceremony and also touring the plant, but the authenticity of the photos could not be verified.

The dictator was accompanied by several senior North Korean officials including his younger sister Kim Yo Jong, Korean Central News Agency said.

Asked about the KCNA report, US President Donald Trump said: 'I'd rather not comment on it yet. We'll have something to say about it at the appropriate time.'
