My Comment: I do not know if the Iranians are developing nuclear weapons .... nor do I know that if successful they would be willing to part with one or more of these weapons to groups like Hezbollah or Hamas. But I do know that the Israeli government is thinking like this, and are looking at the entire situation from a worst case scenario in which the Iranian Government would not only provide a "nuclear" shield to these groups, but would also provide them with nuclear weapon systems.
For the moment .... most countries in the world believe that the Israelis are "over reacting", and that their fears are not justified. The Chinese and Russians definitely feel this way, and the Europeans are (for the moment) ambivalent.
From my point of view .... I can only hope that they are right.
