My Comment: This intelligence official is a bit hard on himself. Many in the intelligence community, media, academia, opposition parties in the Middle East, pundits, etc. ..., knew that the age of dictator in the Middle East .... especially after the fall of Saddam Hussein .... was coming to end. The only question that remained unanswered was .... no one knew exactly when.
Now we know.
