Nairobi Shopping Mall Attack: London-Based French Model Shot Dead In Car Park -- The Telegraph

A London-based French model who hoped to become the next "Gisele Bundchen" and her artist mother were the two French victims of the Nairobi attack.

Anne Dechauffour, 27, and her mother Corinne, 54, were among the first of at least 65 people to be gunned down by Al Shabaab militants at the Westgate complex – shot just after parking their car at the mall.

Ironically, the daughter had recently written and acted in a short film about a hostage taking.

Born and raised in Nice, southern France, whose mayor asked the town to observe a minute's silence today, Anne had dreamed of being an actress, following courses at Paris' prestigious Cours Florent and London's City Academy.

My Comment: The above video is in French, but it gives a good background on Anne Dechauffour. Our prayers are with her family and loved ones.
